Hands down, he is the clear winner, when it comes to chole bhature. This shop has been there for decades and makes the most amazing spicy chole and paneer-laced fluffy bhature. Many people travel great distances especially on Sunday morning to satisfy their taste buds. They also deliver and depending upon your location, they charge a delivery fees. This is one of the oldest Chole Bhature shops in east Delhi. It is fondly known as “Afeem wale Chole Bhature”. Don’t take the word literally it’s just said because the taste really intoxicates you. The whole preparation tastes really amazing and is packed with loads of flavors. They have three branches, Chota Bazar, Vishwas Nagar and Kanti Nagar.

Surender ke chole bhature

Surender Ji has been serving this dish for last 20 years on his cycle. You can find him near Gate No.4; nearest metro station GTB Nagar. You can find him here from 1pm to 3:30pm. What makes his dish different from others is the unconventional flat bhatura. The dish is served with Imly ki chutney, cauliflower and carrot pickle and chole are topped with coriander.

We know the name says kulfi but we are just taking you out on a food trail. It’s one of our favourite spots for kulfi but it stands out for its chole bhature as well. The crispy bhatures and the tangy choles are sure to melt in your mouth. What better combination than having chole bhature and following it up with kulfi-falooda.

Megnath Yadav ke chole bhature

This tiny little spot in khan market is known for its hot and piping chole bhature. This place serves a huge bhatura with not so spicy chole. The sizzling golden bhatura along with green chilies and carrot pickles is surely a treat. Here, the paneer bhaturas are more famous than the plain bhaturas.

A very few landmark eateries continue to sustain their authentic taste over a period of time and undoubtedly, Nand Di Hatti is one of them. The bhaturas are soft as well as crispy and the chole is a mix of delectable flavors. They are served with gooseberry pickles and green chilies. The best part about the dish is that you feel it’s just perfect with all the ingredients perfectly in sync with each other. They don’t use onion and garlic in the preparation. Everything here is made in “Desi Ghee” which makes me feel little guilty but I won’t mind working out extra hard to relish this dish.

This place is a heaven for all those people who work in and around CP and Janpath. The true desi flavours melt in your mouth and you literally crave for more and more. This hidden gem is in the back lane of Scindia House. The paneer stuffed bhaturas are served with spicy chole topped with fried pieces of paneer and kofta and served with pickled kachalu. A regular lunch spot for the office goers in Connaught place.
