For all those fellow-city travelers, want to do a crash-course of all the best places in Delhi, then the best companion one could ask for, is the Delhi Metro.

If your travel-agenda is to have the most of Delhi in a short span of time, you ought to travel on the Yellow Line of the metro. Here's a guide to All of Delhi, that you can catch hold of, on the Yellow Line.

The Yellow line of the metro train has over 35 stations, ranging from the borders at two extremes, that is Huda City Centre (Gurugram) on one side and Samaypur Badli on the other. FYI to board the Yellow Line, you can interchange at Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Hauz Khaz, Kashmere Gate and Sikanderpur metro stations.

1. Explore to the Heart of Delhi, Connaught Place

So, it's a great idea to start exploring Delhi from Connaught Place. Being the heart of Delhi, CP is a microcosm of all that Delhi has to offer. Be it the street food,luxurious restaurants and high-end cafe, local handicrafts ,emporium setups or world-class brand stores, you'll find everything here. It is a must to visit Wengers for all the good snacks and cakes it has to offer.

2. A Stroll in the Lanes of Old Delhi, Chandini Chowk

One you're done with all the exciting things CP has to offer, board the Yellow Line from Rajiv Chowk, towards Samaypur Badli and de-board at the Chandini Chowk Metro station. Here, as soon as you get out of the station, you'll find crowded streets, several vendors with food stalls, food shops, hand-looms, artifacts, crafts, books, electronics, jewelry, etc. Don't forget to visit the Red Fort and the Paranthewali Gali.

3.A Glimpse of the University Life at Vishwavidhyalaya!

The Yellow metro line covers both, the North and the South Campus of Delhi University. The Kashmere Gate to GTB Nagar route covers most of the popular North campus colleges. It is also home to Hudson Lane and the Kamala Nagar market, if food and travel is bae for you, then do visit.

4. Shopping in the Posh areas of South Delhi

Now that your taste buds have been satiated with the delicacies at Hudson, it's time for some shopping. Hop on to the Yellow Line, get down at the Green Park Metro station and take an auto-rickshaw ride for the South- Extension market. Here, you can find all moderate to extremely fashionable and expensive labels, that cover all kinds of fashion, right from apparel to footwear.

5. Off to Gurugram, for Party and Work

That's Delhi signing off! Now that you've seen most of Delhi, you must head to Gurgaon (on the Yellow Line itself, towards Huda City Centre) for a good stroll in the Ambience Mall, so that your travel cycle comes full circle.
