Day 1

It's a cold morning in Delhi. I planned to visit this place called Yamuna Ghat. Usually it's recommended to visit at 6:30 as sunrise is expected around 8:30. And I live in East Delhi so I woke up at 4:45, got myself ready, unplugged charging of my Gimbal and phone, packed my bag and wore 3layers of cloth. And got out of home at 5:45. It was freaking cold with cold breeze passing through my ears and empty streets. Then I rushed to the metro station and catched the first metro with all empty seats. Ohh looks like, I forgot to mention the temperature, which was 4°. Reached the Destination station which is Red Fort(Tip - I prefer going from Red Fort metro station rather than from Kashmere Gate, coz it's more safer). I was literally running as soon as I stepped out of metro to reach on time. It was a 10min walk which I covered in 4-5minutes and finally reached there at 6:30 sharp. The weather was unbelievable like fog all around and it was quite dark, even I wasn't able to see at a distance of 2m. But as a Photographer, It was a happy moment for me. I started clicking pictures all around but as I wear spectacles, It was continuously getting foggy and I was hating that. You'll believe me or not but fog remained that day till 9am. Ohh sorry, I again forgot to brief the location. It's actually the banks of river Yamuna which isn't so clean obviously but It attracts migratory birds in winter and the ghats becomes a tourist attraction. You can go for boat ride over there and uncountable birds will be flying just over your head. Believe me birds are much more in number than you can expect and sun rises just above water. That day was looking like we are in some Zombie world - It's fog all around, people looking like Zombie and birds are adding that effect to that set. It got 8:30 and fog started getting clear and sun was about to rise and it was one of the best sunrise I ever saw like it worth getting up early morning in winters. I know we all plan to watch sunrises when we visit place in winters but when it's time to get up in morning, words can't describe that feeling of sleeping more and more. But as you woke up with so much of struggle and spend time to reach that place for sunrise. Then it becomes one of the best feeling of your lifetime. That's why I always like Sunrise over Sunset, coz it worth that struggle and that feeling, Ohh my God.

It seems I got distracted from the topic. Anyways, I enjoyed that morning to the fullest and then went out to catch the metro at 9:30. And in this way It got over. Btw while writing this thing, I literally felt every small moment of that day. Hope to visit next winters again, maybe in company with some of you reading this.
