So this time I planned my trip for Phuket and Singapore. This was my 3rd honeymoon international trip and my 1st anniversary celebration. My flight timings were 11-30 pm on 20th May.
I booked flights via Air Asia @ 7500 p.p and got my visa through musafir.com @ 1900 p.p.
Tip - Don't get visa from musafir they had very poor service. Also they got spelling error in name which made us anxious regarding immigration.
After all the hustles of check-in finally I had my dinner at plaza premium lounge.
The next day we had layover for 5 hours @ Kuala Lumpur. I had my breakfast@ airport through diner's club lounge access. We finally reached Phuket @ 1p.m
There was no problem in immigration even though there was spelling mistake in the name. Tip- If you can spare time opt for visa on arrival as it's free till 31st October otherwise opt for e-visa. I booked my sim card through klook @350 and cab for 650 p.p. However one can get this at relatively low prices at the airport
We reached our hotel @ 3p.m. We rented scooty @200 baht for a day and roamed around the city to plan our next few days.
We booked tickets for wake up club @ 500 baht from a local shop. Wake up club is a must watch adult show and is approximately 1 hour show. The prices on klook are higher so it's recommended to book from local shop.
After this we visited the famous bangla road. We had our dinner at burger King where we had double veggie burger meal @269 THB
One bad incident was the police were stopping every foreigner for driving scooter and asking 500 ThB of one doesn't have license.
We explored each and every club and bars to the extent possible and went back hotel @2am as we were quite exhausted and ended our day.
We had our buffet breakfast at hotel @ early 6 am
We booked flying Hanuman adventure activity through klook @ ₹ 5200 p.p along with lunch and transfer
The driver came to pick us up@ 7 am sharp.
The actual activity was of only 1 hour which o didn't find worth at such price. However, it was an awesome and must do experience as it included 28 zip-lining.
After the activity we were given vegetarian lunch which was not as per Indian veg taste. At 11 we reached out hotel back.
After this we roamed around the place via scooter and it was awesome experience exploring places
We want back to hotel and had some rest after that.
At 5 pm we were ready to explore nightlife again. We visited central mall and jungceylon mall located adjacent to Bangla street.
We had thai foot massage at 200 ThB for 1 hour.
We had our dinner at Madras cafe. We ate onion masala dosa @ 210 ThB and it was good in taste. One can find many Indian restaurants nearby.
We explored nightlife and went back hotel at 1 am.
In the morning we had buffet breakfast at the hotel. We booked transfer for phi phi Island at 350ThB including pickup from hotel and transfer via ferry. At 9-15 am the cab came us to pick up.
We reached phi-phi at 1 pm . From there we had to walk to our hotel as there is no taxi service in phiphi.I booked hotel through makemytrip at 2600₹ including breakfast. The hotel was average.
After some rest we explored the island. We booked private boat @ 600 ThB p.p that included 2 hrs tour for three places i.e monkey beach, Phi phi lay and viking cave. This is a must try activity.
We came back at 6 and after some rest we explored the island. We reached ibiza beach club that iss famous for its pool parties and will give great vibe for partying
At 8 am the real nightlife started that is what Phi Phi is famous for. We had dinner at public House cafe and they served nice vegetarian pizza. There were fire shows , free shots and the greatest beach party that one can have fun to the fullest. One should not miss stay at phi-2 island to enjoy beach party. At 1 am we were exhausted and reached our hotel.
The next day we had buffet breakfast at hotel. The breakfast was great.
We booked our transfer to ao nang krabi at 300 baht p.p for our hotel. The ferry was @ 10:30 am. The route was around 2 hours. From krabi we were transferred to our hotel to ao nang from share minibus.
We reached our hotel at 2 p.m. we booked it via makemytrip@ ₹ 2600 . The hotel was awesome.
For lunch we had home bought ready to eat meal. After this we bought scooty at 200 ThB for the day. Its better to take scooter on rent as the tuk tuk charges are high.
We roamed around ao nang beach with the scooty. The beach was very beautiful and a must visit.
Ater this we went to famous night market that is only on Friday to Sunday and luckily it was Friday. The route via scooty was dark and little scary and it took us about half hour to reach the market. In the market one can have cheap shopping. We had ice cream and shakes , the same were available in patong 3 times the price.
we came back at 9-30 pm and enjoyed the nightlife in ao nang. There is no much nightlife in ao nang or i can say only 10% as compared to patong.
There were more of families with kids and Indians in ao nang. We ended our day at 12.
The next day after having budget breakfast we headed for an activity that we took at 700 ThB p.p
The activity included visit to three places including lunch and transfer. The hot spring water is about 30-40 degree Celsius where we take bath for half hour.
The next we were headed to emerald pool. This is an ordinary pool which I didn't find worth.
After this we were served with lunch not as per our taste
Note - one can visit this places own by rented scooter. The National park fees is 360 THB .
We headed to tiger cave. We reached the place at 3 pm. The entry is free here. The place is famous for the big Buddha statue. One had to climb 1275 steps to reach the statue which is so exhaustive.
We left the place at 5 pm. We changed our girl to Ibis which we got at 2100 ₹ with breakfast which is best price for 4 star hotel.
We had our ready to eat meal in the evening. We explored ao nang market in evening and ended our day early
The next day we booked our bus to Phuket @ 350 ThB p.p Street having breakfast the bus came for pickup at 10-30 am.
The bus has a stop at the main bus stand for an hour.
This time we booked a budget hotel at just 224 ThB as we have to leave next day early for our flight. The hotel was just near Bangla road . The room was spacious with all amenities at such a price.
After having some rest we went to the bus stop and catch the bus to Central festival at 30 ThB p.p the experience of travelling with thai people was amazing.
Tip - the is free shuttle from central patong to central downtown festival.
We came back at 7 pm and roamed in jungceylon and central patong in the evening. We enjoyed sunset at patong beach.
After this we had dinner at 250 ThB at delhi darbar restaurant near bangla road. We ended our last day at 2pm.
Next day we booked bus at 200 ThB p.p for airport we left the place with numerous memories and we're ready for Singapore.
