Hôtel de l'Europe Gare du Nord

NNNNNN
The second day, my birthday, I was so excited. When I went down to the complimentary breakfast, the hotel surprised me with a box of chocolates and a hand written note wishing me Happy Birthday!!. It was such a nice gesture and completely unexpected.

My face was plastered on to the window the whole time on my way to the hotel from Charles de Gaulle. The hotel which I chose was close to the metro station Gare du Nord. The receptionists were helpful in familiarizing me with the subways and going around the city.I had booked the Paris Pass before I left Bangalore and had opted the 3 day pass, which included the day ticket to the metro and the entry passes for most of the monuments, which would ensure faster entry. Also I had booked for the Eiffel tower tour from Viator, which included a guided tour up to one level of the Eiffel and entry to the top of the tower.
