Day 1

We started from Pune on vascodagama express with our hearts full of joy and excitement.

Of course , this had to be the reaction because it's Goaaa..

Reached Vasco da Gama railway station at 7am in the morning and took a cab for my resort in candolim which cost me approx 2500 RS(Innova A/C).

It's around 10 in the morning And I checked in to the resort and had an amazing breakfast and by the Start of the afternoon Left for North Goa tour.

North Goa tour : costed about 2000 (approximately)

Including:

Chopada fort

Aguada fort and lighthouse

Baga beach

Calangute beach

Vagator beach

It was a great day .

Enjoyed most of the time clicking pictures on the beaches. The forts gave a picturesque backdrop allowing you to click memorable snaps.

The day ended with an amazing dinner with family.

All in all North Goa was worth all the time and effort.

Day 2

The day started with some sunrise photography at candolim beach.

At 10 in the morning got ready and had an amazing bread - omlette breakfast .

Then we left for our trip to old Goa.

The old Goa trip costs approx 2000 rupees and includes all the major sightseeing such as

Se cathedral

Churches

Old Goa church

Panjim market

Panjim ferry ride

Panjim ferry ride costs RS 400(approx) per person and includes a 45 minutes ride across the mandovi river.

The ride showcases cultural themes and dances of the old Goa culture and Portuguese dances.

Also, u get to show off your moves with live DJ playing in the ferry.

All in all this was a must go ride and worth the money.

Then came one of the best places of the day

--The Dauna Paula jetty

That place gave a picturesque view of the sea and if I am not wrong many movies such as singham(first fight in Goa with jaykant shikre goons ) was shot here.

Also azab prem ki gazab kahaani had some scenes from here.

In all , this was a must visit.

After this we went back to vascodagama as we had decided to stay there as we were expecting to leave the next day.

Day 3

Day 3 started with an amazing breakfast at vasco da Gama .(food at vasco was most affordable and tastier than that in old Goa or North Goa).

We had half day for touring in day 3 until we catch our trains in the late afternoon .

So on day 3, we opted for a half day tour which costs approx. 1500 RS.

The tour started with our visit to

Marmagua port and harbour sightseeing

Then we left for Japanese garden and oh my boy ! That was one hell of a picturesque place. The backdrop was so amazing that we ended up clicking numerous pics on that spot.

Also the naina beach was visible from that spot and we could literally feel the breeze gushing on our faces.

Next we went to naina beach and even though it wasn't anything other than North Goa beaches but it was damn clean and less happening.

It's a must visit if u want to sit down in sand and enjoy some family time.

Then we went to naval aircraft museum which is I guess one of it's kind in Asia.

That moment was a proud moment for every indian showcasing indian Navy ships and fighter planes.

This ended our trip with us heading back to the vasco da Gama railway station and catching our train to Pune.
