This beautiful hotel where we stayed in Jodhpur is owned by a Nepali family. They have been in India for the past 20 years. It is located about 20 minutes away from the railway station.
A friend recommended me this and I booked it through booking.com
The owner was a very well behaved, cordial person and so was his staff. The terrace had a beautiful view of the Mehrangarh Fort and the whole city. You could check it if you're planning to visit the city. It's spic and span, reasonable and chosen by alot of foreigners.
It's designed in a way that you actually get a feeling of a typical Jodhpur house.
The low ceiling, the traditional wall murals, the small spaces going into the walls, the doors and everything had a quaint feeling. Also there were two small locked doors opening to I guess empty rooms. Had a lovely experience staying here. Even the food was very nice and pretty reasonable.
