Bagdogra: Started with a Pre booked self drive Eco sport with family.
Heading to Ravangla in West Sikkim, Land slide at Teesta bazaar and blocked around 2pm.
Started detour after 30 mins. Planned via Darjeeling and Temi to Ravangla where our Hotel was booked.
Drove nice cloudy route steep uphill route till Darjeeling ( pics above).
Very disappointed with traffic in Darjeeling, police almost ineffective, lot of smoke, decided not to stay in Darjeeling in return ( as per our plan, we planned to stay in Darjeeling for two days).
Continued our journey through green hills and tea estates an hour after crossing Darjeeling till sunset.
Continued our journey till 7 pm till we realized that we have lost the route to Ravangla, Sikkim.
Decided not to take much risk and stayed that night near Jorethang, Sikkim.
Woke up to bird chirping and pleasant surprise of the river next to us with the clouds and a hanging bridge.
After couple of hours at the hotel and surroundings, got the steering wheel into hands towards Temi via samdruptse ( pics added)
After couple of hours in Temi, reached to Ravangla ( originally planned Day 1). But the detour was an awesome experience with challenges and surprises that Life has to offer.
Beautiful small town, Ravangla, visited Ralong monestary which is pleasant, colorful and must see. Then to Buddha park in Ravangla.
Drove from Pelling to Yuksom waterfalls all the way greeting us including Rimbi Falls and Kanchenjunga falls
Started from Pelling driving through rabyantse ruins and then to Singshore hanging bridge via awesome falls and green hills on the way, ending the day with a skywalk and giant statue on top of the hill at Pelling.

Wheels on move from Ghoom after spending a night at THE ROPE at Ghoom ( All round satisfaction which no other hotel gave in this trip, hence mentioning)
Towards Bagdogra via Lepcha jagat and Mirik touching the boundary of Nepal. Drive is lined up with pine forests and tea gardens.
Spent a polluted evening at bagdogra.
Packed our bags to catch our flight to Hyderabad, back to normal life after gathering much required oxygen.
