It was day 5 of kinnaur spiti trip of 2019 in august.After chilling at Dhankar lake,I was riding my Tvs Apache bike from Dhankar village to Mud village (Pin valley). I started at 4:30pm from from Dhankar village and entered pin Valley around 5:30 pm. It was all mudy after entering pinvalley but scenery enroute to Mud village was just too beautiful. I was riding slowly at 30km/h and enjoying the ride. There were lots of trucks going to mudvillage which makes my journey little difficult , because as each truck takes pass it makes me all dusty because of all the dust inroad. So it was both difficult and beautiful at same time. When it was jus 9km left around 6:45pmIST and i suddenly felt like my bike handle is not moving freely and i noticed that my bikes front tyre(with tube) has not enough air, but i still kept driving and after 2 min its stop moving. So stopped the bike and looked at it and then i know its got puncture in middle of nowhere which makes me little worry. As i know only nearby tyre puncture shop around is kaza which is 45-50km away in these all mudy and not so good roads. So i waited there and ask some vehicles passing by if they got any tools but none of them have any tools to puncture tire with tube. Also tried to fill air with pump we got but was not any help. As it was getting darker and i was middle of nowhere. So i decided to drive with puncture tyre even knowing that it can completely damage my tube or tyre. But i have got no other option because place is not safe and nearest village was mud village only. So i started driving 9km with puncture tyre in dark around 8pm in that road with all the mud, stones and water on road. It took me 1.30hrs to to reach mud village (9km).
Finally i reached there with my punctured tyre around 9:30pm and jus park the bike outside home stay. Rented a room, had dinner and slept with hope of tomorrow will get some help here.
