Ky Co Beach
While you can be based at a resort by the shore, don’t forget to also head to Ky Co Beach known for its stunning beauty. The boat ride here from Nhon Ly village is all part of the adventure and soon you will be greeted with the sight of a sun-kissed slice of paradise amidst towering cliffs, rock pools and sheltered coves; it’s a great spot to have a cooling dip in turquoise waters too!
Thap Doi Towers
For culture and history enthusiasts, one of the best things to do in Quy Nhon is to visit sites dating to the Cham era; amongst these, the easiest to access is the Thap Doi Towers only around 2 km from the city centre. Reaching heights of around 18 and 20 metres, these distinctive towers constructed from red brick are surrounded by tropical foliage and make for amazing pictures as well.
Hon Kho Island
When it comes to excursions, Quy Nhon has plenty to offer and one of the most popular places to visit is Hon Kho Island. This destination can be reached by ferry from the Nhon Hai fishing village; you can expect to find gorgeous, secluded shores ideal for sunbathing and picnics while the thriving coral and marine life in the surrounding waters make it a prime spot for snorkelling.
Quy Nhon Night Market
As the day draws to a close, the Quy Nhon Night Market comes to life and provides more captivating discoveries. Generally open from 6 in the evening till around 11 at night, this lively market features stalls with souvenirs, handicrafts, jewellery, clothing and more; don’t forget to bring your appetite too since there is also delectable seafood on offer!
