"Everyone needs to find their own café– it’s an identity thing".

In a span of few years, Jaipur has witnessed the mushrooming of concept cafes across the city. These places are creating a buzz because they're not just reworking their ambience but also the cuisine. It's no longer just the regular old cuppa for city folk. Today, we focus on some of the European-style places that are known for their beautiful ambience, great food, and just an overall great vibe. Some of the common characteristics of these cafes are minimalism, attention to details and an idyllic patio or a street side seating arrangement.

Jaipur was somehow devoid of an ice-cream café where people could actually sit for a while rather than grab a quick bite or take away home. As cool as it could be and as cute as a button, Molly moo has plugged that gap. Spread at 4 locations all over the city, the café serves you sweet renditions in a warm atmosphere. Barn is the theme and rustic is the mood of the place.

For the owners of the café, Shweta and Sachin, God lies in the details, be it the ambiance of the place or the natural, organic, ice creams, waffles and mud pies served here. The indoor seating area is separated by arches lit in mellow lighting and diffused sunlight. Behind the white fenced out counter borders you might encounter Sachin Khurana experimenting on some serious ice cream chemistry trends.

The ice-cream served is not only the about taste buds but also about optics here. Watching the gestures of spreading, chopping and topping when your favorite rolls are being prepared are sure to make it all the more palatable. The spacious, sunlit, alfresco seating is semi covered with a tensile structure and a good place to sit on a weekday afternoon. You can spend hours here, come rain or shine. The place has acquired quite a reputation for attracting the city's hipster hood for its various ongoing workshops such as feather painting make-up artists, storytelling and even live music to perfectly go along with your sweet indulgences.
