2020 has cancelled all our plans due to COVID -19 situations. The corona virus has hit the global travel industry hard, as almost all the countries shut their borders down to avoid virus to spread. Slowly like other business's travel industry is also returning back to its normal state. All travelers are required to obey the prevailing public health regulations and requirements in Singapore. For example, the use of the mandatory mobile application (e.g. Trace Together ), as well as serving Stay-Home Notice (SHN) and taking the COVID-19 test (if required).

First Thing to do post arrival

Stay Home Notice (SHN) - Depending on the traveler’s reason to travel (e.g. Reciprocal Green Lane, Periodic Commuting Arrangement), person may be issued with a Stay-Home Notice (SHN) when entering Singapore.

Post arrival COVID-19 test - Person coming to Singapore is required to take Covid test on arrival. However children below 12 do not necessarily need to take a test unless their close contacts are found to be Covid positive.

Who can Travel to Singapore

• Australia

• Mainland China

• New Zealand

• Vietnam

People from these countries are allowed entry with a covid-19 test on arrival. Travelers are advised to register and pre pay for the test before departure.

Permanent citizen and people holding Long- term pass returning from Australia and China will undergo a corona test on arrival along with quarantine for 14 days.

However long term pass holders will need permission (approval) from the Singapore Government authorities before traveling.

Hong Kong , Macao ,Malaysia, Taiwan, India , Indonesia, Philippines, Fiji, Finland, Japan ,Republic of Korea , Sri Lanka ,Thailand , Turkey; People coming from these countries or others will be quarantined for 14 days at govt. authorized stays meanwhile some of them can opt out of the SHN facility and serve their 14 days SHN at their places of residence if they do not have a travel history of any other country within 14 days and if they have their place of residence. However they will not be allowed entry, unless they provide valid approval letter for entry, 14-day SHN at SDF . COVID-19 swab test during SHN period is mandatory. People from India, Philippines and Indonesia are asked to produce negative Covid-19 swab test taken 72 hours before departing from their countries.

The cost for the COVID-19 swab test and SDF is chargeable for all travelers; travelers will pay for SDF except Singapore citizens or permanent residents who left Singapore before 27 march 2020.

Local transportation

Metro: Metro services across cities are running at limited volume. Strict hygiene measures are being followed at metro stations as well as on board to ensure the safety of passengers

Buses: Buses are operating with limited capacity and frequency. Travelers are expected to maintain strict hygiene and social distancing practices.

Taxis: Taxi services have been resumed across all cities at limited capacity. Local city operators as well as app-based taxi services have resumed operations.

Are there flights to Singapore now?

Yes currently flights are available for traveling to Singapore in a limited number and are following very strict measures for safety purpose. Air Asia has resumed domestic flights in several countries such as Malaysia, Thailand and India. They are gradually restoring their international flight network. Also, Air Asia has resumed flights between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore, allowing for travel under the Reciprocal Green Lane (RGL) scheme.

If Air Asia has cancelled your flight, you will be notified via email or SMS. Scoot is operating a reduced flight schedule in November and December 2020. Routes connecting Singapore to Australia, China, Japan, South Korea and more are available.
