Day 1

The day we started off from calicut Ksrtc bus stand, kerala. The waterfall is located around 45 kms from calicut on calicut- wayanad route. The nearest bus stop is Adivaram. One has to get down at adivaram, while travelling by bus. Since, it was peak monsoon and we travelled by bus, we took an auto to the thusharagiri waterfalls. Flood had caused havoc in the area, and 2 bridges that lead to the falls collided. Me and my friend took a rickshaw to the waterfall. There is parking area near the falls.

The beauty of the waterfalls was worth watching. Its amazing during the peak monsoon. Waterfall showers you, making you completely wet, the trees standing close oscillating back and forth, giving it the perfect vibe. Though the gate to the base was closed, we could enjoy the falls to the fullest. Pretty amazing vibe. The roaring sound of the falls is the next exciting aspect. There was a small falls in the beginning, then the huge one and in the end another waterfall, but entry to it was restricted.

It was worth the travel. We stood almost 2 hours witnessing the view and experiencing the showers.
