Day 1

“Gar firdaus bar-rue zamin ast, hami asto, hamin asto, hamin ast.” “If there is a heaven on earth, it’s here, it’s here, it’s here.”

According to some sources Mughal Emperor Jehangir said it all when he visited Kashmir in 17th century. And when I traveled to Kashmir I got to know he was not wrong..

Every Journey originate from a point, our started from national capital. i met my best friend Gagan on 15th September at Hazrat Nizamuddin railway station. our bus for Manali was at 18:00. So we decided to visit 2 nearby places.

Nizamuddin Dargah & Humayun's Tomb

Distance : 2km from Nizamuddin Railway Station

We took E Rikshaw to reach Nizamuddin Dargah. The Famous Rockstar movie song (Kun Faya Kun) is also shot at the dargah. After giving our prayers we went Humayun's Tomb. It's a UNESCO's World Heritage Site. You have to pay entry fee ₹50 to visit the tomb.

When we Were about to pass delhi what we have seen couldn't believe in our eyes it was Delhi's Garbage Mountain 😳😱Spread over an area of 40 football fields,It is predicted to grow taller than the Taj Mahal by 2020. Highway was filled with five star dhabs 😁. Around 08.30 pm bus stopped at some Dhaba there we had dinner and a glass of🍺. for 🍺they charged us double so I will suggest you to carry your own.
