Its Morning of 11th September. around 10:00 AM again i started my ride from Mandi. Now my target is to reach jispa by end of the day. but as i knw m already late and i heard that mandi to manali route is not good. and same thing i faced much more dirt, mud, stones and a lot of dificulties in front of me to ride and to reach manali which i litteraly cant forget...Anyhow facing with that i reached manali at 2:00 PM. Now I have only one thing is in my mind before going towards rohtang and that was my bike condition. so i took for a workshop and asked them to take a checkup of my bike if there any issue happened or will happen by next route. and they told me that ur bike is fit u can keep going for next destination without any issue...Now only 4 hours left in evening and m thinking about next stoppage where i could stayed. Khoksar - yes Khoksar would be the next destination for stay tonight...i reached Rohtang Pass at the same time when i felt that sunset is going on. yeah i knw that i was very late but litteraly that trafic and that road which was for rohtang from manali worst road ever in my entire riding life. i m lil bit curious to reach kokhsar bcoz before kokhsar there was no option that was the only destination which i had to reached any how no matter there was day or night brightened or darkened. Anyways i have to Moved on from Rohtang and its my first day of my journey when i ride in dark. Felling Myself lil bit frightened bcoz roads geting more typical and i knw if my bike will skid in any way there is no one with me to get me out of this thats why i was riding very carefully.
with lots of problems and yeah lots of adventures where my heart beats goes on high many times i reached kokhsar around at 8-9 PM. At the strating point of kokhsar i saw a camp where i stayed for night...its very cold out of there...some waterfalls voices in my ears, camp is on river side and they provide me campfire. With these activities m not feeling my self tired now. Met with some more travelrs who also going to leh. So starting of 2nd day was not good as i experienced but at last felt my self relaxed. I asked in camp and they told me that u can cover leh by tommorrow bcoz roads is good but u have to move early in the morning. So i decided that tommorow i try to cover leh anyhow which is around 400 km frm khoksar.
Me and My Friend (Companion) were at My Home n preparing ourselves as we Planned to go on leh ladakh roadtrip. Sudden My Friend Cancelled his plan before 1 hour when we will depart for our dream journey. finally i decided and made my mind for solo ride. My family also deny to permit but anyhow i convince them for my dream and finaly they allow me to achieve my goals. So i Started My Journey from here at 3 am and make a target to reach manali (630km) before evening bcoz i promised to family that i will ride only on 6 to 6. As its my first day of my journey somehow i felt my self more tired and i only reached to Mandi (Himachal) which is 550km. Still i was thinking that only 130 km left to reach manali but i wont to broke my words. I stayed in Mandi on my first day at Hotel Shingar...
Morning of Khoksar...I cant Explain what i felt nature, beauty, Hills, waterfalls, river, refreshment all those factors which i realy want in this journey...first time i realised that i was mad since years to come here...why i didnt came before and why i have to move from here....i wish i could stayed forever.
In these views i forgot to move from khoksar to leh early in the morning. So i have to cover leh as i planned last night but time was 10:00am and again i was late to depart. Still I have to tried...yes i remembered that tommorow is my Birthday. and any how i have to complete this journey today to celebrate it alone in my own way thats what i wish last year. so i moved with my bike towards leh...yes i had to filled my bike fuel tank bcoz after tandi there were no petrol pump within 375km. Hats off to my fuel tank which is having 20leters capacity. when i reached tandi nd filled my tank there i met a person who were coming back from leh i asked him about route he said that route is good enough. but only place which is realy breathtaking is 'baratpur naala'. it will be on somewhere before sarchu. its ok dude i will see. all the best thats what he said in last to me...i feel more confident now.
Beauty of hills attracted me to stop and saying me to stay for some time. and i realy want to do that but i still reminding for destination that i realy have to reached by eod today. thats how i reached baralacha paas.AMS Trying To attack on me but i already prepared for that. and it doesnt hurt me more. after baralacha reached to baratpur nala and it was realy worst from i imagine. my bike got stuck one of that water crossing. i was unable to move bike from a stone in water crosing. so i leave my bike in same place and want my self to calm and relax. after that some army persons help me to out of this and i was realy thankfull to them. they are realy good at their duties. doesnt matter for them who you are where u came from where r u going they just helped. after that some more problems i reached to sarchu and got some food and more time to relax bcoz i realy tired and road was not as good as people told me to reached leh by the day as i asked to them. in sarchu i realised that i cant reached leh today still m trying to achieve more mileage. I was took for more stoppage bcoz tiredness and AMS still trying to harm me. So before Pang i realised that darkness is on the way. Day is going for the end.at 7 o clock i reached pang and i was unable to do more ride after that. So i Decided to Stay there. Temperature of Pang was lowest from all other places till i visited or stayed. So without wasting more time i want to sleep but before this something have to eat. All done and i was on my bed in home stay in Pang. after few minutes two persons enter in the bed area and they also coming from sarchu and their destination is also leh. Sagar and Avhishek are siblings they shivered from cold i asked them for some medicine and soup that would be helpfull for them to relax from cold. we had conversations about journey and a lot discusions about all our experiences. As i was solo and they also on single bike which they opted on rent from manali so we decided to make otherselves companions for this journey from Pang. and from here we were together on this journey they are realy cool guys. dont knw we slept or not in night but yeah we shivered a lot in that night due to temprature...litteraly bohot thand thi...😂😂😂 i completely forgot that its my birthday night😕😕😕
It was very chilled morning in Pang. Tanglangla has to cover now and we all are thinking about roads and route. somewhere our confidence level might be got on down level after Pang. So we reached the second highest motorable road of the world "TanglangLa". It was Realy amazed Feeling man.
Entered in laddakh. Views were getting more beautiful as we reaching our dream destination. Finally with a lot of memories a lot of experiences some bad and some good some was amazing we reached leh.
First thing which we had done after reaching leh we visited tourism department and completed all permits to cover all the Tso's. We have only 4 days to cover that Places. So each day for one destination so in that manner we had to visit Nubra, pangong, Tsomoriri and kargil.
It was 5 o clock in evening when we check in to the hotel room. Then i told my companions that today is my birthday. they shouted for it and realy i feel blessed that i started my journey alone but on the day i was no more alone avhishek and sagar with me to celebrate it. It was finest birthday which i celebrated at my dream destination.
A new journey man. I was in Laddakh and now the time to explore it. we moved to nubra valley. we have to pass khardungla worlds top motorable crossing road. In our way we saw some travelers who already suffered with AMS. we also know that till now AMS didnt hits us but anysoon it can be attack. So we Prepared for it. Finally we made it we reached at the Top of The World "Khardungla". I didnt believe that i was totally fine at that height. and enjoyed myself for about an hour at that place. After that we moved to Diskit. Hold ourselves at Diskit Monastry for a while. We want to go turtuk but we felt we can only cover Hunder by End of the Day. So we reached Hunder. Cold Desert, Child Sand, and that camels. They are strange from other camels which i saw before them at rajasthan and other places are they realy camels i was thinking. So we Stayed in a Camp where we met with Waqar and Ammar. They were nice Couple and yeah that day was Ammar's Birthday. We asked for bonfire to camp staff and make that night a party night for Ammar's Day. Around 11 pm light was gone and view for me is like none from this world. it was like m not on earth man. Moonlighted Hills, Bonfire, Music, Brightened Stars i mean it was one of the best feeling of my life. I never felt it before that. Time to Sleep bcoz we all were very tired but yeah tommorrow we will move to Pangong and Now we are not Three our group is expand to Five people. Waqar and Ammar also joined us in this Journey. Every Journey gives u alot things but only some special jouneys gives u friends who realised u that You are no more "Alone". (Cont...)
