Gift A Smile

When Bhavya Shukla, from Gandhi Fellowship, first approached us to collaborate with her community centre for kids at Dharavi, we were more than happy to be a part in every way possible.
As Mapping Journeys completes one year of operations, here is an occasion to give these kids a good time in the city.
For our birthday this year, we want to give the 20 kids (ages 5 to 14) from Project Weave a chance to explore their city on 18th April, Saturday.

What the tour includes:
Bhavya mentioned that her kids have a fascination towards the sea. Keeping that in mind, as well as our fascination for forests, the kids will be touring over Borivali National park and watching the sunset at the beach in Gorai.
Good food will continue to be a part of their trip all day long!

Why are we fundraising:
The children come from crammed spaces. We want to give them a chance to experience the wide spaces of nature and spend a fun day out of home.
Along with us, we extend to you the invitation to adopt a child for a day.

Funds required:
It will cost Rs. 500 per child, inclusive of bus travel, breakfast and lunch and the entry fees.
You can also choose to donate in lesser denominations of Rs. 200 or Rs. 300.

You can adopt a child for the day and tag along to spend your day making the kids happy.

Do support as many children as you can! :)
