Day 1

I took a connecting flight to Goa, I reached my destination around 6:30 pm and checked into Heritage village resorts and spa, cansaulim.

The first day of my trip to Goa I woke up early at 6:00 a.m. and walked to the Arrosim beach which was only 2 minutes away from my resort. The early morning walk was absolutely mesmerising and the green roads of cansaulim took me away with their beauty!

After enjoying the beauty of the road and getting lost among the dragon flies, I reached the Arrosim beach.

The Arrosim beach was the calmest beach I’ve seen so far and was filled with a variety of shells. The shells made me so happy. The sand was so soft and comforting. Not many people know about this beach and even though they do I think not much people prefer to visit this beach because it’s totally uncommercial. There are no shacks, no food points, nothing. That’s one of the reasons why I like this beach so much. This place gives you a “me time” and let’s you introspect. If you want to spend some time away from all the chaos, this place will be best for you.

Next we visited a few popular places in South Goa like Basilica of Bom Jesus. I personally feel there was nothing special about south Goa. I didn’t really get to explore the inner Goa so I can’t really have a complete opinion yet.

Day 2

The second day was a little more interesting than the first one. I visited north Goa. I started with the famous Aguada fort.Aguada fort has nothing much to offer except for its old walls which give u awesome photos, the view of the sea and bright sun which will make u a toast.

Next I visited the Candolim beach which was filled with stretchers to relax and enjoy the view of the sea. As it was too sunny, I couldn’t stay there for much time and headed to Calangute.

Calangute actually made me feel like I was in Goa. It offered a variety of water sports and I did parasailing and relaxed in the shacks.

Day 3

The last day of my trip to Goa was filled with adventure. I visited the beautiful Dudhsagar falls. We started in a jeep and went around the forest roads. I got to see and experience what it’s like to be in a forest. We passed through flowing rivers which almost drenched our jeeps and filled it with water. After reaching a certain point, we were supposed to trek our way to the waterfalls. The trek gave me a new experience and refreshed my soul. Finally we reached the beautiful falls and enjoyed the amazing view. I found many monkeys roaming around the falls.

The last day of my trip was filled with adventure and gave me an experience of something offbeat.

Day 4

That was my trip to Goa and I was so disappointed to leave the place because I’m totally in love with Goa. The green roads, the blue beaches made me fall for the place. I couldn’t really explore the streets of Goa and experience the evening life at Goa which I wanted to but I hope I do that in my next visit!
