With the second wave of Covid in peak, with the threat of the getting infected by the deadly virus increasing day by day, the government is taking various measures to control the pandemic in our country.

Due to the raging numbers of the patients every single day, many countries have started to restrict Indians to travel to their countries to avoid the widespread of the disease.

Seeing the situation going out of control in India, many super rich are trying to reach UK before India comes in the red-list.

As per the news report, the richie rich crowd of India has shelled thousands of pounds to get to Britain by private jets ahead of the ban.

At what cost?

At least 8 private jets have flown to Britain from India before the travel ban was imposed from India, and the price of one ticket is approximately 72 lakhs, according to the media. Four of these arrived from Mumbai, three from Delhi and one from Ahmedabad.

The news report also states that some Indian travellers were unable to get any seats on direct flights last week, and requested for the private jet. The people who managed to reach Britain on time, had to take corona tests, self-isolate themselves and must budget for a 10-day quarantine period at a government-approved hotel quarantine facility and take two follow up PCR tests, adding approximately 2,000 pounds per person to the travel costs.
