Day 1
Ratangad is Chattrapati Shivaji Maharaj favourite fort. This trek I have done with trekking group named "Offbeat Voyager". We started from Mumbai took train for Kasara and reached by 1:00 am at Kasara station. Then we booked a jeep/traxx and reached Ratanwadi till 4 30 Am. We took rest had breakfast and started our trek at 6:00 am from ratanwadi. We reach the top by 10:00 am through ganesh darwaja and also went to the nedhe and started descending through Trimbak darwaja. It was slippery because of rain. We reached samrad at 4:30 pm had lunch and reached kasara by 6 30pm. We all had awesome experience in this trek.
