Service Apartment well-served!

Tripoto

To begin with, I work with an MNC in the field of marketing and have been a solo traveler for my entire life. Perhaps Gurugram was one of my touring destinations throughout the tour that had been planned! While I was in the city, totally unclear with its surroundings, I had rented a serviced apartment for around 6-7 months and had always had a desire to live in a corporate stay so as to stay comfortable and at ease while I worked throughout. Moreover, a serviced apartment seemed much cheaper and affordable unlike costly hotels that would have binged upon my budget!

After extensively looking out for a fully furnished and well provided stay, I opted for the Perch Service Apartments, considering that it had one of the best ratings online. As fancy as the name sounds, the outlook of my Winsome Room at the Perch Arbor Sushant Lok serviced apartment totally complimented it!

As a corporate employee would want it to be, I had the comfort of all the facilities at my doorstep! From housekeeping and cleaning to the provision of newspapers and magazines, I even had the provision of In-house taxi service that aided me at every step. Though the best part about the stay was that I had access to complimentary breakfast that made me feel at home! Perhaps starting my day with a good meal and a good view were the key players why I had so much fun staying at this property.

Some of the highlights from my stay

I found the location well- situated for my stay, and the best part was that it was close to the HUDA metro station being about a 5 min walk. So, I could afford to be sluggish at times to leave for my office.

Apart from the regular things that one expects at all service apartments such as Wifi, daily housekeeping, and other good amenities, two things really stood out for me when staying here, the genuine care and happiness with which the staff served the guests and the second was the nice airy feel to the whole place, it didn’t feel like staying in a hotel at all.

Throughout my stay I had immense work to get done with. Roaming all over the city and contacting vendors really made me tired until I came back to my apartment and had the facility to watch TV and relax.

With the privilege to avail complimentary breakfast every morning at my doorstep, some days I wasn’t in a mood to step out at all and some days I could barely rest. However, with the humble and polite nature of the hotel staff, I almost felt as if I was at home and asking my mother to make meals for me! I even remember sipping in some green tea in the garden that used to be so relaxing and let me just flow in the moment.

Also, not to forget, the very endearing kitchenette I had, wherein I would cook myself some tasteful dishes and pass by my weekends teaching my sister some much-needed cooking skills via Skype. At times I would even pop off some champagne to unwind the hustle and bustle the city had to offer.

Other than the work I had to do, I felt completely secure on the premises of the hotel and perhaps witnessed that there were alert security systems to take care of the same. Moreover, the provision of the in-house taxi service served as a cherry on top of the cake for people like me, who were not familiar with the city and its whereabouts! I tried to keep myself hooked in the times of boredom by shopping out and visiting a few other suggested places by my co-workers.

Being a female solo traveler, I was way too concerned about prioritizing my safety at first. However, reading through the reviews and the feedback I was assured that my safety was in good hands.

As my stay was planned during winters, I often had to rush in to my apartment to feel the warmth before a heater and settle myself down. I really do suggest travelers especially ones planning for long stays to pack in some good warm stuff as the weather overturns swiftly and nobody would wish to pack themselves in the hotel sheets for too long!
