Day 1

This is the day I realised "unplanned trips are the best". On Friday night after having dinner we went on a walk and started talking about life and how the last couple of days were rough on us. Suddenly within the next one hour, we were travelling to Naintal.
On saturday we ventured out from our hotel on a hired Scooty without any particular destination on mind. The journey was mesmerizing with the view of lush green mountains, moving clouds, and small streams of water here and there. After few minutes it started drizzling and the journey became even more beautiful. Rain, mountains, and your favorite person; what else one needs right?
What is there not to love about mountains? But the one thing that I love the most is you can just get lost in the serene environment away from the hustle bustle of the city life and the constant notifications of your cell phone. Of course there was no internet connection so without the help of any map we went ahead and reached at kilbury.

Kilbury is famous for bird sanctuary. It is called bird watchers paradise. We could hear the chirping of birds and feel the gushing wind on our skin as we started trekking there for around 2km and came back cause it was getting dark.

But, then found out the flat tire of our scooty. Disappointed we locked the scooty and started walking in the hope of getting signal on our phones so that we can ask someone for help.
Turns out that walk towards pangot village is one of the most amazing walks of my entire life.
Rain drops falling on the green leaves, the sound of flowing water, singing birds, me holding his hand and walking. Just when I though it can't get better, I could see the view of pangot from the road itself, a quaint village located at a height of 6510 feets. That one hour on that deserted road felt amazingly blissful.

We received help from the person who rented the scooty to us as he sent his man for rescue. But, till then I was in love with the road, the trees, birds and kilbury.
