We all dream of flying in comfort, especially on long haul flights. And the best way to feel less tired and get pampered is flying business and first class. And to even think of flying business and first class, is a no joke on the bank account. Unless you have good set of points to upgrade. Business class is atleast reachable for an average flyer. Whereas first class is a far cry and always remains a dream for many. But there are five airlines which are the cheapest to fly first class!

A price comparison website Money.co.uk has recently analyzed the differences between the price of economy class and first class airline tickets. The website did a research using Google Flights with a sample of 1,200 flights to get this data.

They said, “the cost of a flight between each airline’s hub city and each destination that it offers business or first class flights to excluding those within the same country.”

The best way to fly first class without spending a ton of money is only by getting lucky or an upgrade for free!

The survey showed that there are five least expensive airlines which you can take to which comes with exclusive services like access to a top-end lounge, priority boarding, amenities, fine wines and dining, and departure and arrival services.

Here are five least expensive first-class airlines

1. All Nippon Airways

The Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways has the least amount of difference between economy and first-class flight ticket prices. is the Japanese carrier All Nippon Airways. The price difference is 185% between Economy and First class. Although it is relatively less than other airlines, considering All Nippon Airways tickets are already quite expensive.

2. Thai Airways

Thai Airways, ticket difference demands 313% more than an economy ticket to give you a seat in the first-class cabin. The first class in Thai Airways is called 'The Royal First Class,' a semi-private suite. You will receive toiletries and pajamas, and you’ll be served luxurious dishes such as stir-fried lobster, grilled Thai-wagyu beef, and Kurobuta pork chops.

3. Korean Air

With a whopping difference of 400% between economy and first-class tickets, this is still one of the cheapest upgrades you can get!

4. Lufthansa

This German flag carrier is an amazing experience when you have to take a long flight. If you are ready to shell out 477% more than economy to reserve your seat, you will get access to first-class terminal and lounges, personal assistance, and Michelin-starred standard food (caviar served in fine china).

5. Garuda Indonesia

Another Asian airlines made it the list and this Indonesian carrier Garuda charges more than Lufthansa to fly you in style. With a 527% difference between economy and first, Garuda offers a limousine service, fine dining, personal assistance, and fine dining in the clouds!

These differences between the economy and first class are certainly ridiculously high, but if you are thinking these are too much, you’ll be shocked to hear the price differences between the most expensive airlines. Qantas charges 813% higher, while Emirates charges 777% more for first-class than economy. With the most expensive being Etihad’s at a whopping 1,019% more!
