At the cost of sounding like a quintessential millennial, we can admit that Starbucks coffee is a mood itself, now imagine sipping it while you soar high and closer to your destination. We've all faced the wrath of sub-par to not so pleasant coffee when on board, but this time our senses were in for a treat when the aroma of our fresh brew greeted us.
Solo Women Traveller Friendly
If you're a woman flying solo with Vistara (Irrespective of the cabin), the team assures that you are allocated either a window or aisle seat to ensure maximum comfort. This little detail definitely struck a chord with us, because middle seat for solo women travellers isn't always the best idea.
Gourmet Dining Experience
The food on airplanes has been an endless subject for most travellers, and unfortunately the words flight food doesn't really bring a smile on anyone's face, but our food experience with Vistara has definitely changed that. In the past, we had absolutely loved gorging on their breakfast and evening snack meals on economy cabin flights, but the dining experience (Yes, dining) on Premium Economy and Business Class deserve a mention of its own.
Premium Economy cabin passengers are presented with a curated menu offering 3 choices of mains with salads and breads, some non-alcoholic beverage options along with a choice of wines, alcoholic beverages to choose from, and of course there are tea and Starbucks coffee. If you have a sweet tooth, the dessert of the day is bound to be a winner for you. Our meal was wholesome, and warm making it perfect for lunch, we obviously capped it off with some coffee. So, the food experience clearly was a dining experience for us on the Premium Economy cabin, in a nutshell, a lot more for a little more!
Flying Business class with Vistara surely justifies every penny because the luxurious experience begins even before boarding the flight! The business class boarding pass entitles you to an invitation by Vistara to the airport lounge letting you enjoy some quiet time over a bite. The dining experience in Business Class thousands of feet above the sea level is restaurant-like. The menu is even more elaborate with 4 choices of mains, 2 choices of desserts, multiple choices of wines, alcoholic beverages and our absolute favourite - mocktails too.
Apart from the elaborate choices on the menu, the little details made the biggest difference for us as passengers. As soon as we boarded the flight, we were greeted with a welcome drink and choice of the magazine to read, this was followed by our choice of beverage (Amazing mocktails in our case) with warm assorted nuts as we enjoyed catching up on some magazine reading. We opted for a vegetarian Indian and oriental meal and were thoroughly impressed to have it presented in fine crockery with cutlery. The scrumptious whole meals came a choice of bread on the side and some drinks to complement the meal. The desserts were just as impressive, we found ourselves enjoying a delicious peda overlooking a surreal sunset from the window!
Comfortable Seating
The seating on both, Premium Economy cabin and Business Class cabin have its share of advantages. The Premium Economy seats offer extra legroom ensuring a comfortable flight, has its own private cabin area and is closer to the font of the aircraft. The Business Class seats come with wider legroom, head and feet rest to be at ease.
Complimentary Priority Services - Check-in and Luggage
Booking a Premium Economy or Business Class ticket on Vistara means skipping long queues and waiting time for check-in and luggage collection respectively as both of them are handled on a priority basis as a part of complimentary services for the passengers.
What is the coolest feature according to you? Imagine enjoying premium luxury at economical prices! When planned and booked in advance, the premium economy tickets can cost only nominally more than the economy cabin tickets.
