Two days Date with Coorg-Scotland of India

Then after i had my breakfast over there

Pro Tip : Never take hotels beside Coorg bus stand they will charge you more When you just go away from Bus stand you can see hotels in small houses Go to that hotels you will get good food and for reasonable price

Followed by i went to Madikeri Fort

Since i am not having a bike i thought of i will cover far places for today and i will keep the nearest places for next day So i though of going to TALAKAVERI.You will get direct buses to Bhagamandala which was 8 Kms from talacauvery From Bhagamandala you have to hire a Auto which i did just like Abbi Falls waited at stand until two people came and convinced them and i have shared the fare with unknown

Talacauvery was just heaven on earth It was one of the beautiful places i have seen on earth since it was heavy Fog and Drizzling trek to the nearest peak has been cancelled

Then i came back to Madikeri at 8:00 clock then i went to Royalbrothers Bike rental company and i have take bike

Here comes most terrifying part of the Trip where i have booked a hostel which was 8 kms from Madikeri Bus Stop It was a Hostel in middle of woods where i have to go all the way on Ghati road where they was no light in eyesight and a Most terrifying thing happen on my way but that was fight for another day My friend i will write it afterwards

The next day i went for Mandalpatti Peak trek with someone whom i met at hostel but for our bad luck the peak is closed because of heavy rains and the way to that peak was damaged due to rain

On the way we went to Raja's Tomb

Then after 3 hrs started to my next place that is Dubare Elephant camp

Important thing : Dubare Elephant camp is open b/w morning 9:00 to 11:00 clock and eve 4:30 - 5:30 PM

Due to my lack of research i missed my spot on dubare camp but what i enjoyed more is the travel from Madikeri to Kushal nagar on bike with a Freezing weather with drizzling and Yuhi Chala song in my ears

Then after that i went to Namdroling Monastery The architecture was mind blowing and while walking in the Monastery it just felt like i was walking in Jackie Chan Movie sets

Then again i came back to Madikeri which was the best bike trip till today i had Kushal nagar to Madikeri on bike with a Freezing weather with drizzling and Doore Doore song in my ears

After i reached Madikeri i went to the so called Famous Raja Seat it was Breathtaking

Then i thought of going to Shopping in streets of Madikeri

but i was stuck under a roof with Corn ,Coffee & Songs under a bus shelter due to heavy rain

Then after 2 hrs i went to shopping and bought 400 Rs of home made chocolates and Coffee

I know that i have not covered most of Coorg but yet this managed to get into top place for this time because of its Sexy weather and Coffee

To sum it up i had went all the way from Bangalore to madikeri to enjoy Freezing weather with Drizzling,Songs in my ear with Coffee in hand But yet this was my best Travel experience

Because of last minute plans i didn't get much info on Coorg which spoiled to see some places but they is no small amount of regret because i already made my peace with Weather and Coffee

To and Fro - 700 Rs

Bike - 800 Rs

Food - 700 Rs

Auto- 300 Rs

Hostel- 300 Rs

Chocolates - 300

Thats how my Date went with Scotland of india=Coorg

But i will meet Coorg for second date in near future
