
On this day we reached Haridwar station at five o'clock in the afternoon. We went to the room as we had already booked the railway returning room. We freshened up and left for Badrinath around 7 pm for the car. Many of you know that there are many travel agency offices near Haridwar station. So we talked to different travel agencies and cut two tickets for a local bus from a travel agency to Badrinath tomorrow. Our bus will leave tomorrow morning 4 olcok. So we ate our dinner at 9 pm and went back to the railway returning room
We arrived at the bus stand at four in the morning. And left our bus at the right time. Our destination today is Govinda Ghat. It takes about 10 hours to reach Govind Ghat by local bus from Haridwar. The bus stopped at two o'clock on the road for lunch. When we reached Govinda Khan, it was four o'clock in the afternoon. We were at Gurudwara at Govinda Ghat so it didn't cost us any money to stay and eat.
On this day we had dinner and went to bed early at eight o'clock at night. Tomorrow very early in the morning we will start walking to Gangaria and purpose which is the first step to the Valley of Flowers


On this day we started our journey towards Gangaria at five in the morning.Ghangaria can only be reached after partaking in a 13 kms trek from Govindghat. There are no clear roads to Ghangaria but a path made of rocks. It was three o'clock in the afternoon when we reached Gangaria. Arriving there, we first enter the hotel and freshen up early to visit the village of Gangaria and plan to visit the Valley of Flowers tomorrow to talk to the locals.
Ghangaria is nestled on the confluence of River Pushpawati (coming from valley of flowers) and River Hemganga (coming from Hemkund Saheb, also known as Lakshman Ganga). This dewy place is snuggled in the bosom of the Himalayas and is the last human settlement on the Bhyundar Valley.
Ghangaria is a major stopover for travelers, visiting Hemkund and the Valley of Flowers. This bijou place is coiffed at an elevation of 3,050 meters in Uttarakhand.

We got up at five o'clock this morning. Then after breakfast and packing lunch,we left the hotel for the Valley of Flowers. It was half past six when we reached Infront of the gate of the Valley of Flowers.
We then allowed ourselves to go to the Valley of Flowers with our identity cards at the government office in front of the Valley of Flowers gate and our journey to the Valley of Flowers started at quarter to seven.There is a entry fee INR150 for Indians and INR 650 for foreigners for a 3 days pass and INR 50 for Indians and INR 250 for foreigners for each extra day.
It was cover a trekking trail of 5 kilometers within 3 hours to reach the valley that is located at an approximate altitude of around 11,500 feet above sea level.
After enjoying a day out at Valley of Flowers, We reached Ghangaria at five in the afternoon. Arriving at Ghangaria we were tired and completed our dinner at 7 pm and went to bed because next day we will leave for famous religious site The Hemkund Sahib.












At five o'clock in the morning we set off for famous religious site Hemkund Sahib. Our intention was that if we could return from Hemkund Sahib soon, we would reach Govinda Ghat today.
We were cover a steep ascent of 6 kilometers to reach Hemkund Sahib, which is located at an approximate altitude of around 14,107 feet above sea level. After enjoying a peaceful day here, we were take a steep descent and get back to Ghangaria at 2:30 pm.
As we had planned to return to Govinda Ghat as soon as possible, we did so today according to that plan. But we descended from Gagaria to Govinda Ghat on mules because we were very tired. When we reached Govinda Ghat, it was half past five in the afternoon. As soon as we reached Govinda Ghat, we cut the bus ticket from Govinda Ghat to Haridwar next morning.



We were return to Haridwar from Govindghat on the sixth day of our Valley of Flowers trek and proceed on back home.
Here are some tips to keep in mind for you Guys regarding Valley of Flowers trip -
1. I went to Valley of Flowers Middle Week in June due some office problem. But the best time to visit the Valley of Flowers is between July 10 and August 10.
2. You Will definitely carry a raincoat.
3. There is no need to book a hotel in Ghangaria in advance. When booked, the costing is higher. 4. My trip from Haridwar to Haridwar Total cost Rs. 9887 for two. That one cost Rs 5,000 per head.
