Things to do at Tulsishyam

While Tulsishyam itself is a destination not often heard of, it is mostly known for the following places which are must-visits for any tourist who sets foot here!

Tulsishyam Temple - Tulsishyam is best known for its Vishnu-Shyam temple, better known by the name of Tulsishyam temple. Historical legends claim that Lord Krishna defeated the demon named Tul, leading to the region being named Tulsishyam after Lord Krishna and Shyam. The black stone idol of the temple is claimed to be over 3000 years old!

‘Taptodaks’ or natural springs - The Tulsishyam temple is said to be home to natural hot springs with healing properties in its waters! The hot waters of these springs are said to be rich in sulphur which has beneficial effects on the body. A dip in these waters is a must on your trip here!

Anti-Gravity Hill - 400 metres north of Tulsishyam temple on state highway SH104 is the famous Anti-Gravity Hill. Cars on neutral seem to move uphill on their own on these roads defying the universal laws of gravity! However, this phenomenon is scientifically ruled out as being an optical illusion due to the slant and gradient of the road. Visit Tulsishyam on your own to find out more about this occurrence!
