From Haridwar, one will get autorickshaw or bus to Rishikesh... It hardly takes 20 mints to reach there...

The river rafting experience was really great fun ....
The spot around laxman jhula I went at mornig around 10 .... It was raining and and shivering weather... I along with my travel buddy was waiting for a car which took us for rafting...
We joined some people in a jeep with some people and boat and our jackets were behind ...
After 20 mints drive we reached at a point where we were about to begin rafting...
After all setup with life jackets we just got some instructions about rafting...
It was real twist and turn and jump .... It felt that anytime we can be out on water during this adventurous ride....
The beauty of nature around cannot be defined...
Then I asked instructor whether we can swim or not... He told jump and I jumped and the water was shivering cold when I get back to boat I was shivering....
We saw many camps around river...
Then we took a break for cliff jumping and tea and Maggie...
I was thrilled about cliff jump 😂 now and wemt for it ... Again the cold water but experience was great ... I did twice ... shivering but can't stop myself...
Then i had a Maggie over there only and smoked ciggeretes but can't beat the cold....
It was raining and I was wet and the adventure was still left ... After sometime we started the boat and we reached Laxman jhula .... And to reach hotel it was like more adventurous 😂 as I was shivering with cold and could change in hotel only...
Great experience really...
It is the holy place for Indians as river Ganges is so clear over there ...best time to visit there is between September to march...
For yoga lovers, it's a big yoga festival in March...
It also offers good cafes and street food...
Marijuana over there is very good
In the evening I found many sadhus (saints) sitting all over the road near Laxman jhula... Bridge to cross river ....temples, and market situated across this bridge...
Walking around ram jhula and Laxman jhula is very pure feeling....
Staying at Rishikesh is also very cheap as one will find hotels and guest houses at very cheap rates ... Ashrams are also available there ...
German bakery near riverside is good place to reset myself ....
Street food in Rishikesh is very cheap and good ...
Parathas with pickles and curd, noodles etc we find at street is very good....
Temples here are also very attractive
