Mussoorie, also known as Queen of the Hills, is among the most popular hill stations of the country. A Britisher, Captain Frederick Young, accompained by an official named FJ Shores, had climbed up the hill from the Doon valley in 1827 and found this ridge offering great views and a salubrious climate

Why Mussoorie also called Queen if the hills ?

Kempty Falls is best favouriete place for international tourist and One of the most famous attractions in Mussoorie, the waterfalls are a great place to relax, unwind and indulge in some adventurous fun. Located nearly 1,364 metre above sea level, these falls are truly a spectacle for every visitor.

The highest peak in Mussoorie, this is about 2,290 metre above sea level and offers outstanding views from the top. You can see the entire mountain range through a Japanese telescope that’s installed at the edge of the cliff. You can also trek along the mountains and take blessings from the holy shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath.

This road has got its name from the rock that’s shaped like the hump on a camel’s back. It stretches for about 3 km from the Library Chowk to Kulri Bazaar. Indulge in the beautiful views of Doon valley, try horse riding or enjoy the various snacks from the small eateries along the road. If you’ve booked hotels in Mussoorie close to Library Bazaar, you can easily visit this place by car and take a walk up the hill.

This artificial lake is a great spot admired by tourists and locals alike. You can try boating in the lake or even sit around and enjoy some delicious snacks. You can also see some cute ducks swimming in this lake and also find many scenic spots for your selfie session!
