Most unique temple of Varanasi

Varanasi also known as kashi is famous for its ghats numerous temples , one could find temples in each nook and corner of kashi.

We happened to come across one such unique temple of Kashi , having visited many  temples across India , this looked too far fetched , only to believe when I saw it through my own eyes , some call it sacrifice temple , few of them call it sucide temple.

Though the temple looks new , this temple has quite a huge historical importance which has a mention in the old puranas.

This temple is a kind of underground temple as the diety is situated in the ground , one can see the linga from the top

This temple was a prominently famous for sacrifices made by the devotees , who used to fall from top towards the huge saw which resulted in the death , resulting in attaining moksha.

During the colonial rule of British , who considered sacrifice as a sin and made sucide as a crime which resulted in being punished for attempt as well.

How to reach

Karvat mandir is always confused with ratneshwar temple, so it's better to reach Blue lassi n ask for directions
