Located 5 km north of Alleppey, this is the perfect escape for city dwellers. A family-run floating villa, this is based right on the shores of Vembanad lake. Giving you the feel of a small Kerala village, this provides you with an opportunity to stay in a floating canoe cottage.
During your stay here, you can find yourself relaxing in the midst of coconut trees, with wild birds chirping all around you. Open spaces between the cottage and lake also give you the chance to lie around in hammocks around the property.
The property has options fro individual stays as well as large corporate events. The canoe cottage itself floats on a small inland canal, around 20m from the main lake shore. With two balconies, a main spacious bedroom and separate bathroom, this is an ideal stay option for twin sharing. For special events such as seminars and private parties, there is also a large open area with a capacity of approximately 350 people.
A perfect place for a peaceful stay, the property has plenty of activities for you to enjoy though. From Bamboo rafting to fishing, barbeque, a kids play area and operation of Chinese fishing nets, there is no dearth of things to do during your stay here.

How to reach?
The cottage is located 5 km from the main town and bus station and 8 km away from the railway station. The nearest airport is Cochin International Airport, that is 83 kilometres away.
During your stay on the property, there is a houseboat terminal on one side, that allows guests to come to board/off-board the houseboats operated by the host.
Tariff
The cottage tariff starts at Rs 2833 per night for twin sharing, including breakfast. Lunch and dinner can be included in the package on request.
