It's a place of heaven for history seekers Warangal is the best place who wants to get into Kakatya Dynasty.
So on Sunday I started from Hi-tech city Hyderabad to MG bus stand and then a Local Bus to Warangal. It took 3 hours to reach and then I stepped into the history.
1st I visited Thousands pillar temple it is a creation of Kakatya time and there is a very good ganesha sculpture in it . Although it was hot as I went there by 1 Pm but so quite and feel. Good to see the carvings and color matching.
Kakatya is all about superb carved scluptures and very very vibrant colours.
After this I been to the Bhadra Kali Temple all the Aggressive avatar of Kali mata. Felt so graced and again the colors I see there was amazing had a great Punjabi Kulfi there .
It was done for me to visit temples now I went to Warangal fort more then a fort it's a Fort Ruins in a garden type Area but again all hail to Kakatya type Scluptures the carvings and the murtis are very lovely you can get good pics and a great time pass over there and finally ended with Khush Mahal .
A must go 1 day trip it seemed at the end of your in Hyderabad.
