Hyderabad, when a person hears this name, he or she would say that it is ‘THE CITY OF PEARLS’. But whoever or whatever the person is, who stays in Hyderabad, feels that this title is not enough to describe the city’s greatness.

Many people have various views & opinions about the city in so many aspects, like food, people, architecture, etc. But for me, it is ‘THE CITY OF EVERYTHING’. Whoever enters this place, there is something for everyone & one word would come on everyone’s mind, AMAZING!

So the main thing for which I love the city is FOOD. It is the only thing on one's mind, and one forgets the good, bad and the ugly. Now, why am I just getting started with this topic?

You would say that it is known only for its Dum Biryani. But honestly speaking, as a Hyderabadi, I feel it’s not only the place for biryani but also for various lip-smacking delicacies.

That is why the city has been recently designated as the UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, for a reason. The place is also known for its Nawabi dishes, South Indian dishes & various delicacies. But for me, the street food of the city & the nightlife of the town would be the clear winner.

No other city can compete in terms of price, quality & quantity. This is just amazingly unique. Wanna get a guide for what & where should we try these things. Try the street food in Ameerpet, Ayyapa Society, Old City, etc. during the night time. And for biryani, it’s not only Paradise, but there are various outlets like Shah Ghouse, Pakwaan, Cafe Bahar, Bawarchi & various local eateries to checkout.

Now that food is done, how about exciting places to visit in Hyderabad. There are so many places to go around based on your interest. If you are a big lover of unconventional cars, Sudha Car Museum is just the place.

The car models are based on the things we use like a pencil, book, sports equipment & other various models & of course its vintage cars. Overall, it’s a must-visit place. If you are having a keen interest in history & things antique, Salarjung Museum is the place to roam around. 'The Clock' is one of the main attractions of the museum.

If you are having keen interest related to the history of the place, there are many to be explored. Charminar is not only the main attraction but also the Chudi Bazar ( Bangles Bazar), Chowmahalla Palace, Qutb Shahi Tombs, etc.

But for me, my favourite one is The Golconda Fort. The reason is not only because of it’s architecture but because of its breathtaking science related to it, especially in terms of sound.

And another fact about the place is that you can see the Charminar from the top of the fort, but only the two pillars of it can be viewed, that’s just astonishing & surprisingly amazing.

And various places to visit are Birla Temple, NTR Gardens, Hussain Sagar Lake & so many places. And how can I even forget this, if you are an ardent lover of movies and Bollywood, you may have heard of Ramoji Film City, it's a treat even for a non-movie lover.

It is also considered as the largest film studio in the world spreading over 1666 acres. Even the worldwide blockbuster film, Baahubali (The Beginning & The Conclusion) was made here, starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati & so many superstars.

The sets of this film, also known as The Mahishmati Kingdom, is the main attraction of this place and it was just a paradise, especially for movie geeks, like me. Overall, I can say it’s a treat for everyone visiting this place.

And if you know something about the 'Visa-Temple', u heard it right, it's the Chilkur Balaji Temple at Himayat Nagar, believed to grant visa wishes of devotees. It's a strange belief, but it's true. If you are planning to come and simultaneously having visa problems, that's the place for you.

This segment is out of the box, but it's worth a fact about the city. Hyderabad is also known as the Kota of South India.

For those who aren't familiar with the name Kota, it is a city in Rajasthan known as the coaching hub for IIT-JEE, one of the world's toughest exams.

The reason, it's one of the places in India to dominate in the engineering and IT sectors. So it's evident for anyone aspiring to get into a top Multi-National Company or creating one of them.

So as it comes to the final segment, the people of this place are just amazing & the atmosphere of the place is just overwhelming.

When it comes to sports, this place celebrates every sport, mainly cricket. When it comes to festivals, it's just celebrated with jovial and enjoyment, mine jovial moments during a festival would be the Ganesh Visarjan and having midnight Haleem, during the Ramadan . And the nightlife is just, BOOM! It’s just alive 24/7, thanks to malls, parks, etc. Need an example? Why not wake up at 3:00 AM, before the dawn & have the famous lip-smacking dosa at ‘Ram Ki Bandi’ which is just open from 2:30 AM to 8:30 AM at Afzalgunj. If you wanna sign off your day by watching a beautiful sunset, Hussain Sagar Lake would be the place, known for it's largest monolithic (single rock) Buddha Statue in the world. And of course having a casual stroll along Tank Bund and Necklace Road is incomplete when u visit this place. Not only this, there are many to see & explore. By this, I can say that this is ought to be in your bucket list & a place to visit with your family or for your solo trip. Overall, as a Hyderabadi, I can proudly say,
