Fam-Jam In Singapore !!! #visitsingapore #tripotocommunity #tripoto #singapore

Tripoto

There is a big difference between traveling solo and traveling with family. Now traveling with family is like watching full entertainment Bollywood movie. It's got fun, drama, comedy and yes; it's got entertainment too. So me and my family set out to this entertaining trip to Singapore. Now the dialogues comes in. My mom asks " did you pack all the things relevant for the trip?". And we are like "yes mom, we have packed it thoroughly". But obviously just dialogues aren't enough, we need emotions to make the drama complete. So mom "you never listen to me". Now again we are trying to convince her "mom we did the needful"; being too polite and kind. We can't create a scene at the airport. So mom sobers down and off we head to Singapore.

Upon arrival at Changi Intl airport, we were awestruck by the magnificence of the airport. Standing in one of the world's biggest and busiest airport, we found ourselves too excited to run and hurry through the airport formalities. Located in the heart of the city, we finally arrived at our hotel in Queens Street. After reaching our room, I realized I had forgotten my toothbrush. I prepared myself of another melodrama unfolding, but luckily my mom was too tired to comment.

So taking advantage of my family resting, me and my brother tiptoed to the city to explore and buy my toothbrush. Hustling & bustling streets welcomed us. The aroma of street food made our tummies gurgle. It was amazing, everything is so easily accessible and convenient. After exploring for a while and with a toothbrush in my hand we headed back to the hotel, because we had to go for the Night Safari at the Jurong Bird park. The park had a natural environment similar to the forest. The idea of the Jurong Bird park came up for a reason in Singapore. It was because, the people would have a place where they could escape from the urban life and relax with nature. After enjoying, we headed back for the entertainment that awaited us the next day.

The following morning my dad was in a very jolly mood and announced that we are going shopping. "Yipeeeeeeeee". So off we head towards Little India and the Mustafa Town centre, which are one of the main shopping areas of Singapore. Its like seeing a mini India abroad. This buzzing neighborhood is sure to awaken all our senses, be it through the multi-coloured shophouses, or the spiritual chants that can be heard from the temples and mosques nearby or the pungent aromas that infuses the air, when the demand for food reaches its peak. I remember this particular incident in Little India. A tour group was also present, and their tour guide was giving the tourist a description of "saree".

You can actually see a lot of saree clad women in Singapore. So the tour leader remarked "saree is an incredible attire draped around the body and it has no buttons, zips or belts. It's just a long yard of cloth. I am surprised how the Indian women carry it off so well". First time I was hearing this description, but it was a proud moment for all the Indian women present there. Anyways after we completed our shopping, eating, it was time to retreat towards nature. The best part about Singapore is that you can find nature in its unique way anywhere. Next stop, Singapore Botanic Garden. It is honored as a UNESCO World Heritage site because it is the only tropical garden.

Wow the view of the garden was beautiful, it was like a combination of so many colors on the top and the bottom comprised of green and brown. So many flowers, different colors, various sizes; a treat to all nature lovers. The garden boasts of almost 10000 species of flora and is very famous for its Orchids. Perfect place to relax from the hum-drum of the city. The next day, was another adventure to the Sentosa Island. This beautiful island is a creation in itself. Filled with theme parks, casinos, hotels, restaurants and various entertaining spots this island is a fun city catering to the requirements of all age groups.

The cable car ride to the island was mesmerizing. The view of clear ocean waters and beautiful blue sky, was magnificent. Finally we reached the island, and immediately we realized that we have to walk fast to enjoy everything or most of it. Off we go to the Palawan Amphitheatre, where we got a chance to witness the agility, intelligence and responsiveness of the animals. It was a beautiful scene there. Its like getting to experience the true nature of the animals. Next we head to the shore to witness a beautiful laser and fireworks show. It was like the sky seeing millions of diamonds in the sky. Since few hours isn't enough, we got tired pretty fast of all the walking, so we headed to Sentosa Nature Discovery to relax and for eating.

The tranquillizing beauty of the island can be seen here. Calm and peaceful, one could hear the chirping of the birds and the crick-crick sounds of the crickets present there. After relaxing for a while, we headed back to our hotel to pack up as we had an early morning flight the next day. Touchdown home. Thank you Singapore for this Remembral.

Folks if you get a chance, do visit this country, its a must visit. Have a great day.
