Was in Guwahati for some work so along with freinds we planned for a one day trip to Bhutan, just a short one touch and back type hehe. So we took a train at 0530 hrs in morning from Kamakhya station to Hasimara . We reached by 1100 am . Then we took a cab from the station for 100 rs each upto Bhutan gate(Jaigaon). It is recommended to take cash along with you (3-4 k) apprx. Their are two ATMs in Jaigaon but both were not working when we reached, So that was a big problem. So their is gate towards left for the entrance and do not carry plastic bags with you as the people are present their for checking your belongings. Then we went inside their is not much to see one park is their and one temple if you like to visit. People are of freindly nature and surroundings are clean .
So if you are beer lover you can try DRUK 11000 it will cost 60Rs and is really nice and available in cheap price at normal shops but same is available for 140 in restaurants. We had lunch in the restaurant in front of park. The service is very poor plus they don't have north Indian cuisine. If you are a vegan then also you will not find enough items for you. Their are Spa centres also you can go around and check.
After roaming around we went back in evening and took train back to Guwahati in night.
So that was a short trip just a normal one.
