This trip is one of a kind. This place is not a famous place, hardly people know about this place. We started form Bangalore at 4:30, it's around 70 kms from Bangalore. We reached the place at around 6:30 by taking proper halts for chai.
When we reached there, we were the only tourists there, hardly 2-3 people came after us. No way to go up the hill with bike. There was no proper parking available, we parked at our own risks.
It was a small trek, we took the staircase to go up the hill. There were around 1500 stairs, for some part the stairs were made of rocks, for some part they were made of marbles, and for some part we were suppose to climb nd go ahead.
The view was very beautiful from all halting points, there was greenery everywhere. The roads to the hill were not good at all, you need to have patience to cross the roads with your bikes.
In the middle of the path to hill top, there was a Nandi temple, where rishis used to meditate. On the hill top, there was a small pond, a fort and a Shiva temple. The temple for closed unfortunately. One can sit there for hours and enjoy the calmness of the place, there was no crowd at all.
There are no shops near to this place, carry water and eatables with you. Good place to click pictures. I will surely recommend this place.
