The property is located within the city limits and is just 30 minutes from every major hub in Bangalore. Being a resident of the city, this felt great as I could take a break in familiar surroundings. The pretty sanctuary overlooks the KGA golf course and has a temperature controlled pool. Whether you feel like teeing off at the 18-hole course or taking a refreshing dip to beat the summer heat in the pool, there’s plenty to do here. The restaurants here are also home to some of the most accomplished chefs who even offer private dining experiences such as a dim sum and sushi making experience that’s a great way to try something new.
A new way to unwind in Bangalore
Kickstart your weekend staycation on a Friday evening - arrive at the hotel to be escorted by friendly staff to your suite where you can complete your check-in formalities. As you enter the room, you’ll immediately feel at home. Relax and unwind on the comfortable couch, open up a bottle of wine and take in the surroundings before you head off for an evening of great food and fun at Klinx, the hotel’s in-house lounge bar. The bar has traditional cocktails, craft beers and drinks with a contemporary twist. The food ranges in Indian flavours to finger food and makes for the ideal companion, as you listen to the live music or catch the latest game on the enormous screen. The atmosphere is easy going and light - just what you need while on vacation!
Be sure to try: The chicken wings, and the Dahi Chiranjee kebabs. If you like a good bourbon, order the Smoking Barrel and if you’re a teetotaller, request for a cucumber, lemon bubble - you won’t be disappointed! Wednesday night is ladies night, so drop in here for a night out with friends in safe company.
A gourmand’s delight in the heart of the city
If you’re a foodie like me, you have to try breakfast at the Ministry of Food. Starting at 9 AM each morning, the chefs at the Ministry of Food create a breakfast that will leave you spoilt for choice. Whether you enjoy an English breakfast, Parisian breads, south Indian Idlis or craving for Poha that reminds you of home - the talented chefs leave no stone unturned as they take the pains to ensure your taste buds are pampered with authentic flavours from every corner of the world.
The wholesome buffet with generous portions is great for if you’re visiting with friends or family. It caters to every palate and the courteous staff will help you with any special requests you may have.
Be sure to try: The Sunday brunch - if you’re a late riser and want to treat your taste buds to some mouth watering delights as you lounge by the pool then make a reservation for brunch here, it’s one of the best in Bangalore.
If you enjoy outdoor seating, sharing a meal with loved ones on a gorgeous evening and trying the best meats in town, then dinner at the newly launched restaurant Seta, is something you shouldn’t miss.
Considering the generous portions, I’d highly recommend you work up an appetite by swimming several laps in the refreshing pool or work out at the gym available to guests throughout the day.
The menu at Seta is designed to be shared and brings a sense of connectedness with fellow diners over a hearty meal. The flavours have a strong foundation in Asian and Mediterranean culinary practices, with every serving whisking you away to a magical evening by the pool. The ambience is romantic and opulent making it ideal for a date. It can also seat larger groups, has a great selection of wines and dishes that take you on a delightful sensory journey with textures, smells and tastes that will make you wish your meal will never end.
Be sure to try: The salads that feature only seasonal ingredients, the pork ribs that are slow cooked for over four hours and the Matcha ice cream dessert.
Escapades at every turn of the property
The Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golflinks is a space that you can call home for the weekend or even longer periods of time. It has several nooks that you can unwind at - plop by the pool and read a book in a cabana that’s surrounded by gardens and has screens for privacy. You can head to their cafe, Re:cess to try a lovely selection of teas, explore the library or turn musician as you strum the guitar. There’s also a lovely terrace area surrounded by a lush selection of flora and fauna where you can spend time. Given the property’s proximity to the central business districts and shopping zones, you can even head out for a pub crawl or immerse yourself into the local culture at a market.
Vacation in the lap of luxury at affordable prices
The Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golflinks also has some great offers that make it a viable option for solo travelers, couples and groups. The resident pubs and restaurants are also open to guests who aren’t staying at the property with competitive pricing, making it a rewarding option with unmatched hospitality when compared to popular restaurants in Bangalore.
Being a woman on a solo staycation it was one of the safest places to holiday at. The team at the Hilton Bangalore Embassy Golflinks is thoughtful, warm and quick to pick up on guests’ preferences as they customize the service to your liking. The concierge service is top notch as one would expect at any Hilton property and with the largest entry-level rooms in Bangalore, it’s the ideal choice for the jet setter who enjoys feeling at home.
