Bannerghatta Zoo and its Jungle Safari is one of the very popular tourist attractions in Bangalore. Everyday a good crowd visits the zoo to experience the jungle safari.
They have both AC and non-AC vehicle safari and you can book the tickets both online or at the zoo itself. On weekends and on holidays crowds are more and some special holidays, sometimes you may need to wait in the queue for a couple of hrs to get into the safari vehicle.
Once you enter the zoo first go for the safari. It is nicely managed and there are places to sit and wait for your turn to get into the vehicle. During safari you will be taken through different areas for elephant, bear, deer, tiger and some other animals. Try to get a window side seat and you can see the animals from a very close distance.
Next visit the animals in the zoo. You can see many animals including zebra, hyena, tiger, leopard, king cobra, and many other animals and birds. It is a small zoo and you can cover all the area in an hour.
After that you can visit the butterfly park which is 5 min walking distance from the zoo where you can see many butterflies.
