Hello folks,
On the spring break we hiked to Susunia hill, Bankura. It is my fourth hike. earlier I have hiked in someplaces at Jhargram, Purulia and Australia. Honestly speaking, hiking to Susunia was really difficult than others. In fact reaching to the top of Susunia is better to be specified as trekking than hiking, considering the difficulties. It is one of the favorite places of mountaineers from West Bengal.
Apart from mountaineering, Susunia hill is known for its rich archaeological history. From the locals we heard that this hill is enriched with medicinal plants. To know more kindly google about it if you are interested.

This is the highest point up to where we could hike.
Temperature soared upto 40 degrees of centigrade. We, as a result, got exhausted and dehydrated too. So we decided to come down instead of reaching to the top. Still has about 40% to hike further.
