Hey Satish! There are some experiences that you must not miss out on your holiday... dont want you coming back with the feeling that you could have had more fun! Dont forget to lunch at Luhtu's Coffee Shop in Denpansar, it serves great food, and has an impeccable ambience. You should also visit the local temples in Ubud, and learn how to make offerings like the locals do. It is a great feeling to be close to the culture of the local people, they will appreciate it too! Try spending more than a couple of days in Nusa Lembongan. This little paradise will leave you wanting more of it even when it's time to leave. Explore the beautiful, pristine beaches on this island. Dont forget to go Scuba Diving in Trawangan. You can also try freediving here! Hope this helps!

Hi Dikshita, Under three hours from Mumbai, Kolad's biggest attraction is the Kundalika River, that offers an assortment of adventure activities, such as kayaking, paragliding and the much sought-after, river rafting. Due to this, numerous travel and adventure companies have camping sites on the riverfront. Some of the options are the following: Kundalika Camps - http://www.kundalikarafting.in/stay-options-accomodation.aspx Big Red Tent Kolad: http://bigredtent.in/kolad/# 365 Hops: http://www.365hops.com/kolad-camping-fun-eid242

Hi Harjot, While there have been a few landslides recently, the highway is still open and its recommended to be cautious and keep tabs on the weather. Reaching Leh via Srinagar and returning via Manali is a very good option as the traffic through this route will be less, and so will be the number of tourists.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi. goodluck first of all. since august and September are monsoon time. there is a probability of having very much rains and as we all know more rains more are the chances of landslides. Though currently it is open and you can go for it. Manali - Leh is difficult and more adventurous than Srinagar - Leh. but on the other hand Srinagar route is more easy going and kind of perfect road trip. so you can choose either adventurous or easy going beautiful. Also you can check my trip how i did my "Delhi- Leh Under 2250" https://www.tripoto.com/trip/leh-couldn-t-have-been-597823ff239db

Hi Shikha, You can reach Leh from Spiti via Keylong. This is the route if you are starting from Delhi: Delhi - Narkanda - Sangla - Kalpa - Nako - Kaza - Chandra tal - Keylong - Leh. From Keylong, which is the administrative centre of Lahaul and Spiti district, its a 9-10 hour drive spanning 350km wherein you will cross the second highest pass of Tanglang La, Moore Plains, Pang and the Sarchu Gata Loops, to reach Leh in the evening.

Hi Sudheer, If you're travelling by bus, you can start in the evening around 7pm, from Majnu ka Tila. You should reach Bhuntar next morning by 7am. Board any local bus from Bhuntar and stop at Manikaran first. After you've visited the Gurudwara and the surrounding market in Manikaran, you can head to Kasol, via a local bus. Tosh, which is an hour away by taxi, needs at least a day to be explored properly. Kalga, a beautiful village, is an hour away from Tosh, and can be reached via an easy trek or a local taxi. Both Kheerganga and Malana, are a day's trek away from Kasol. Rasol, is accessible only via trek, and will take you around 4 hours.

In Vietnam, you can wear comfortable clothes - shorts, dresses, khakis and shirts. Keep one or two dressy things for evenings.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Sanah, While the dress code is quite relaxed in the major cities of Vietnam, its always better to dress modestly. While visiting the temples and pagodas, regardless of the fact that they have no strict regulations, to respect their customs, avoid anything overtly revealing or ostentatious. If you are visiting anytime between August to November, carry plenty of light t-shirts, jeans and cotton wear. Another essential if your are travelling during this season will be raincoats, as Vietnam sees an abundance of downpour during these months.

Hi Ankit. I don't think so. Your body weight shouldn't be a problem unless you weigh more than 180kg. Paragliding is more about being mentally strong physically, you don't need to be very fit. I did a round of paragliding with a decently overweight friend in Bir Billing, and he faced no problems. We were both a bit scared, but that was the only barrier. If you are still unsure, though, you can always call up a few agencies who organise paragliding in Bir Billing and check with them. Hope this helps.
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Yes it is. But it is also dependent on the pilots. Generally stronger and well built pilots will go with people with higher weights. I tell from experience since I got switched with a much heavier guy and my pilot was quite strong. If you are anywhere between 80-100, shouldn't be a huge problem.

Hey Dipali. There are many companies online and offline who offer GoPros on rent in Mumbai. If you want to see the GoPro before renting it out, check out the shops on Grant Road in South Mumbai. But if you are looking for convenient options, then you can source your GoPro from online companies such as Easyleasy, Rentsetgo, Karlorent and Mutterfly. Most of them will deliver the camera to your doorstep a few hours after you order it and pick it up after your trip as well.

Hi Dipali, check out Mutterfly ( www.mutterfly.in). You will get a range of options in terms of models and prices. The items are verified by Mutterfly and Delivered and picked up from your doorstep. Have a great trip and capture some great memories : )

Yes it's very possible if you leave on time ,it doesn't take much tome to cover Cellular Jail but i recommend spend as much time you can for Marine National Park, its worth it

October is a great month to travel practically anywhere in India. Snow does not begin to fall in the mountains but the winter winds set in leaving a lovely chilly but not freezing weather. Hotter regions of the country such as Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan cool down and the party-goers have not yet ravaged the beaches. If you can tell me which city you are based in, I will be to give you a more practical suggestion. But my personal pick would be the Niagara Falls of India, Chitrakoot Falls in Chattisgarh. Hi! Leh is the capital of Ladakh district, so when you say you want a 5-day itinerary of Leh, I suppose you want to spend time exploring the beautiful attractions around it as well. Leh itself has plenty to see as well, such as the Leh Palace, Vipassana centre, a one-of-its-kind donkey century and several homestays that best reflect the way of life in the Himlayas. If you are reaching on the 23rd, then I would suggest you spend at least two-days acclimatizing to the altitude and then only move further up to explore Ladakh. Here is a detailed itinerary to help you out: https://goo.gl/j3V6aa

First of all, congratulations! For you'll be getting Leh'd Assuming that you'll be reaching by afternoon. I'd recommend you to acclimatise yourself for the day while exploring the market and getting yourself a transport for rest of your travelling in Leh. Either you can get a cab or bike rented for 5 days. Since I am budget traveller, I always find a way to spend least and travel more. 24th Aug. - You can spend your day by exploring the Gompas and Monasteries around and in Leh. Because it is even known as city of Gompas, so you obviously dont wanna miss them 25th Aug- You can now actually start travelling and exploring Ladakh. From Leh to Nubra/Hunder Valley via Khardung La. This way you will cover Khardung La, Nubra, Hunder Sand Dunes. You'll probably reach by 5 or 6 if you start early. Either you can spend your evening with camel rides and all at Sand Dunes. And spend your night at Nubra Or go further to Turtuk Village, it is the last village from that side of India. and possibly the most beautiful place you'll come across in your journey. And spend night there. (If you cover Turtuk Village on 25th you wont have to give a full day of 26th for Turtuk then) 26th Aug- Nubra/Turtuk Village to Pangong Lake. and Spend Night at Tso Pangong. Do get up early and have a sight of lake at around 4:30 in the morning. It looks so beautiful i cant express. 27th Aug- Pangong to Leh. And dont forget to try out the amazing cafe?s in Leh. Serves a great quality and tasty food. Hoping that you are not counting 23rd in your 5 days. You can also travel to Tso Moriri on 27th from Pangong. Stay at pangong amd reach back Leh on 28th. If you want to have a budget travel. you can check how i did my "10 days travelling in LESS THAN 2250 INR. and went till Leh. " https://www.tripoto.com/trip/leh-couldn-t-have-been-597823ff239db

Hi! Six days are a pretty good number of days to explore in and around Meghalaya. Some of the most sought after attractions in Meghalaya are the live root bridges in Mawlynnong, waterfalls in Cherrapunji and the crystal clear lake of Dawki. Monsoons are considered the best time to visit the state, but if you want to avoid crowds then months such as June, September, October and January are pretty good as well. Hi Ankit, The trek from Bir to Billing is at least 4-5 hours. It is suggested that you start the trek early morning so that you can reach Billing in time for paragliding. However, please note that paragliding is currently not available because of monsoons.

Trek from bir to biling is 13 km. If u want to enjoy paragliding it is suggested to book one from bir so that the organizer takes u to biling in his own taxi. This way ur precious time and energy could be saved.
