I use Gopro Hero 7 and have done some digging on Osmo action, Osmo is better than Gorpro in having a better UI & front screen in the camera. Other than these 2 points I trust Gorpro is better. You can even check out the new Go Pro Hero 8. They are planning to launch a screen mod as well for Gopro Hero 8.

If you are interested in visiting Shimla to see the snowfall, then it is an ideal time to go.
