I've visited Gokarna so I'll only talk about it. It is a must go place if you're a someone who can't decide between pahaad and kinaare. Perfect for a 2 nights/3 days getaway destination to be explored on a scooty (the lush green western ghats all around will give your eyes a break from the concrete jungles of city) or on foot (if you're doing the famous beach trek).
If you'd rather chill than exhausting your body with all the trekking, I recommend staying at Zostel, as it is located on a hill top with the perfect view of the beach from their cafe, order beer and just relax. Or go to the famous Namaste cafe, grab the only table which is on a pedestal with the beach view and soak in the beauty of the teeny tiny town . Don't forget to keep taking a dip in the ocean though!
1.hampi is rich in heritage ,u can have historic view of stone chariot ,Queens bath ,virupaksha temple ,lotus mahal, elephant stable.2.gokarna its a beautiful beach town of karnataka ,u can visit om beach relax in namaste cafe, kudle beach ,yana caves ,mirjan fort
Places can be suggested but time is unpredictable. Head to Khajjiar, Sethan which is close to Manali, Hatu peak of Shimla, Auli of Uttarakhand etc are best to place to enjoy a snow fall. Check the weather prediction before you head to these places.
First of all be bold and confident. Never leave your bags unattended. Never ever accept anything from strangers even if they are pretending and travelling as a family. Strike conversation only with people whom you are comfortable with and no need to disclose where you are heading what your plans actually are. Always choose an upper berth in train so that at any time you can climb up comfortably stretch your legs and take a nap. Always take your handbag when going to the toilets and last but not the least always save the Railway Police and Emergency numbers as speed dial. You are good to go :) Safe travels ahead
Its good to make friends while travelling but be smart ,carry less of cash .Less of luggage bagpacks are best when travelling .Keep all important numbers on dialled. Keep ur ticket and id proof in your phone .B vigilant. World is beautiful don't restrict urself ..enjoy have safe travel ā¤š
Daringbadi in Odissa is one of the most scenic locations in South India. You should visit Daringbadi in the winters, between the months of November and January. That's when the temperature is low, the weather turns pleasant and you can explore all the major attractions in Daringbadi such as Hill View Park, Herbal Garden Picnic Spot and Nature Park. The temperature falls as low -3 degree Celsius, offering the perfect hilly weather. If you are lucky, you can find thin layers of ice at this time of the year. Another pleasant time to visit Daringbadi is summers.
Currently, I hope there are no cruise services from Chennai/Kolkata to Port Blair and vice versa. But, to experience a ship journey along with beautiful beaches there are so many options available from Kochi/Mangalore to Lakshadweep with affordable fares even for first class tickets. You can check Lakshadweep government website for details/Packages.
It depends yaar. If you book hostels through hostelworld.com your accommodation will be relatively very cheap and if you try couchsurfing your total accomodation will be free plus you get the advantage of staying with a local and know more about Swizz than Google. For transportation you can depend on Swizz Pass and a four days pass will cost you anywhere between 15k to 20k. The advantage of these passes are with this you can travel for free in bus, train and ferries and will get free entry in many famous museums. Food being a personal choice and hence if you carry around 35k i hope you can easily manage your travel, food and some sovereign purchases.
It depends on the kind of travel and plans actually. but on an average you will need 50 swiss franc in a day so that's about 350 swiss franc. So you can convert about 25k inr for travel. It you travel budget it might cost 15k to 20k INR only and of you are luxury traveller plus shopping it might go up to 35k INR upwards.
Your location is very far so 2 days might not be sufficient however if your are planning for 3 nights then ping me back I will help you with all details I have travel there many times and know it well
Hi,
Mahabaleshwar is one of the top holiday destinations in Maharashtra. It is about 6 hours away from Mumbai and 3 hours away from Pune. A lot of people prefer going on a road trip by taking their own vehicles or renting cars or bikes. If neither option is feasible, you could opt to take the state bus that runs between these locations frequently.
Go through the various travel guides available on Tripoto to get a better idea about the route, where else you could travel to and what are the best places to see in Mahabaleshwar. Attaching some helpful posts below.
Have a great trip!
Yes it's definitely a good time to visit. You might be able to witness snowfall if you will go their in first week. But yes keep good winter wears with you because it's gonna be very cold there.
I hope this "Local" refers to the bus not train. Because Chail is not connected by train.
If you are coming by train from Kalka and chail is the destination, better disembark at Kandaghat. Take a cab or bus from Kandaghat to Chail.
From Shimla- Buses for Chail are plying from Lakkar Bazaar Bus Stop. Cabs options is always available.
Buses and Taxis to Chopta and Ukhimath are easily available from Rishikesh. Chopta By Air: Jolly Grant Airport is the nearest Airport of Chopta, situated 226 kms away in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand state. The remaining journey has to be covered ether in a taxi or in a bus.

If you have passion for writing you can be a content writer for Travel Magazines as well as for websites. If you love photography you can cover their travel stories. The last but not the least would to be associated with a travel agency and be their tour manager.

Hi,
It is possible to visit Chandrashila any time in the year except when it is snowing heavily. Although it generally snows from January to March, you can visit then too if the weather is not that bad. Go through others' itineraries on Tripoto to get an idea about travelling to Chandrashila when it's deeply covered with snow.
