Yes, there are inexpensive homestay in Spiti but not all the luxury obviously. And if you think that it's mainly for bickers and cars yes it is even I have seen cyclers cycling and there are public transportation but they do also have there own timing because the places or I would say villages in Spiti valley are quite a distance. if you want to walk through then after reaching kaza you can walk through the off road areas to go and discover them.

Rainy season is not good to travel in this part
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Hi Mohsin, I would suggest you to take the risk and travel the Parvati Valley in the monsoon season as it's absolutely breathtaking out there during this time of the year. Make sure to be safe and carry as much supplies as possible including umbrellas and raincoats to avoid any delay in the schedule or to avoid getting stranded. As for the accommodation part, you can check out Booking.com app where you can find beautiful homestays in Manikaran, Chalal, Rasol etc. Have a safe and trippy journey mate!

Base camp Of Everest?
upvoteUpvotemessageComment
Annapurna Base Camp is around 7 days trek marked as moderate to high. I visited this year April which was a good time to go. The trek has about 10-15 km daily with ascend of about 1000 m (there are some parts for decend as well). There are many adventure companies that provide packages as well. We went with a company called Bikat Adventures. Not the best experience. You can try with some more famous ones. Cost generally is around 22-30K per person depending on group size and discounts. You can also try the local vendors in Nepal which are cheaper. You can look at some blogs for more details or ping me for anything specific you want to ask.

Check the road and weather conditions as there are landslides happening in mountains, also the rivers are overflowing.

Road trip on NH 24 is fine. NH 87 i.e Rampur - Rudrapur have patches from distance to distance. It is really beautiful out there due to rainy season. Make sure to carry umbrella , extra clothes , raincoats with you. If possible make time for Naukuchiaatal which is way more beautiful and less crowded than Nainital. You can experience Canoeing and Paragliding in Naukuchiatal.

For stay, I would say it depends on your preference, budget and how many people are in your group. But in most cases hostels are pretty good to stay. And I am not sure about places to skip but definitely try to stay the in plitvice, dubrovnik, and split. They are pretty amazing places. And if you get enough people to join and budget permits, do try to hire a car for road trip between split and dubrovnik (we did from dubrovnik to zagreb and it was definitely one of the best road trips I have had till date with most beautiful views).

Best and easy to reach place is Dharmashala from Amritsar. if you are planning from Delhi or Chandigarh then it is Simla, Manali. But road to Manali is long and hectic.
