You can try hostels in Auroville. Also coming to travelling, best option is two wheeler.
Activities: Main attraction is Matrimandir. If you have contacts, get them to take you inside the temple. Do visit Svaram, a musical museum kind of a thing, a really nice and peaceful place :)

Auroville is the most serene and peaceful place ever. People around the world visit there generally to meditate. They have hostels to offer and also own restaurant. But make sure to book it way prior to your visit.

At this time you will have to face some heat but you will get greenery all around. You can also go to Kumbhalgarh from here, which is full of greenery and historical place.

May to mid july is the best for bike riding from manali to ladakh .coz after july there is a chant of land sliding and heavy rainfall and before may road are closed due to snowfall.
comming to budget .it will be covered under 55k_60k.
bike rent are available at manali or also in ladakh.

It won't be possible to cover all in 2 days...only 1 of them will be possible....u may opt for mahableshwar and panchagani ...that's close to pune

Palampur you can explore as it's less crowded however you should avoid hills in monsoon. Better plan your trip after monsoon.

You can cover Shillong and the Cherrapunji circuit. Leh circuit is also doable in a week. Else, Darjeeling and Gangtok have considerably cheaper tour packages right now due to the rains. That could be an option. Better still, the monsoons are good time to explore Delhi too. The days are generally cloudy and so you don't have to worry about the heat. You could see all the historical places, eat your way through Old Delhi or even catch some of the lightshows across town!

*goa is a great place to explore if you love beaches , forests, parties, chilling,food and relaxation. it's just a perfect place for a part animal .and the vintage vibe it gives is just unimaginable.
*if you are some party types ,north goa is preferable to you and if you are visiting goa for relaxation or isolation from busy schedule, south goa will be on your list . *since you want to enjoy trip to goa at just 6000 ,it will require a low budget hotel ,or most preferably if you are solo , book your place in zostel or any such travellers hostel,at a very minimal cost .
*try eating most of the local street food ,street food is the real taste of the place.street food doesn't mean bad .try new new flavours at goa and let your taste buds enjoy too .

Hey Shree...Ladakh is closed from September mid to March. The roads will be closed. You can go to Rohtang pass from Manali Highway in October not beyond that.
