A place where you leave the hustle bustle of traditional tourist spots and settle in the idyllic beauty of nature with Mountains, Tall trees, cool breeze and silence.
One finds very little traffic going to these parts due to the town owing it's existence to a military cantonment housing the regimental headquarters of the Garhwal rifles.
There is an Army museum, a couple of churches and a lake dotting the landscape.
