Whether you love driving or not, the screeching and grumbling of the cars is sure to give you an adrenaline rush.

The sleepy town of Nuvem, Goa features one of the longest go-karting tracks in the country with a track length of over 500m. The fact that it's located on a hilltop only adds to the beauty of the place. The construction is done by Swedish and German engineers and the curves are daunting enough to bring out the Schumacher in you. The place regularly holds State and National Championships as well. In just Rs 200, you can get a chance to drive a gokart for 10 laps, where average speeds go upto 70 kmph. How does that sound now?

How to get there: The place is about 10 km north of Margao near Padre Conceição College of Engineering. If you're driving from the north, turn left into a steep road after passing the college. If driving from the south take a right from the hospital.

Additional Information: The place is open from 4 pm-10 pm. Children below 14 years of age are not allowed to drive. The trip can be coupled with a visit to the nearby beaches of Majorda and Uttorda. Although there is a gokarting track in the north, near Arpora as well, it's only half as long and not as thrilling as this one.
