Goa is a great holiday place to take that well deserved break and thankfully it's open to tourists again *phew*. Goa recently opened to domestic tourists on July 2, 2020 and we can't wait to take that long overdue vacation. I stumbled upon Woke Hostel while searching for an accommodation last year when i was travelling to Goa and the garden area and the location made me instantly book this place. The building is over 100 years old and offers a girl's dorm, a mixed dorm and 3 private rooms with a beautiful garden area and a swimming pool.
I absolutely loved the lazy vibes at this place and the wonderful people I met. They have a strict policy against 4 and more people to ensure that everyone talks to everyone.
Located in Arpora, you can reach the hostel easily from the airport within 1-1.5 hours by road, depending on the traffic.
Popular beaches like Baga, Calangute, Anjuna, Candolim are about 10-15 mins away. The hostel is also close to some really amazing restaurants like Infantaria, Artjuna, Baba Au Rahm, Gunpowder, etc. The Arpora Saturday Night Market, famous for food stalls, live music, junk jewelry and spices, is also walking distance from the hostel.
The hostel is set to reopen in August with all the necessary precautions being taken and sanitization works underway for a comfortable and safe stay.
