I reached in the morning around 7 and went to Upper Dharamshala (Dharamshala is divided into 2 parts- Lower & upper). You can easily get good and cheap stay on the hills rather than going to Mcleodganj.
First day, after a little rest I went for a little trekking on the hills to go to a recreation centre and met few friends who lives there. We all had lunch together and spent some good time with the people on the hills. In the evening, I went to Mcleodganj to enjoy the evening as the city is crowded with the tourists and the restaurants and cafe are very good. I tried a little chinese and japanese cuisine in one of the most popular food joints. And the nightlife on the hills aren't really very shiny, so I headed back to the recreation centre and enjoyed bonfire with the people. Next morning after getting fresh I started to a place around 30kms from Dharamshala which hosts an annual fare which is very popular. We spent the complete day there, enjoying different cuisines, playing different games and much more. I could revive my childhood there in few hours.
