Hello guys!
Here I start my weekend trip to McLeodganj
I took a Bus from Delhi to Dharmashala on Friday evening. It was 11 hours Journey. On the Saturday morning I reached Dharamshala & from bus Stop I took a jeep Taxi to Mcleodganj . You'll find so many private taxies at the bus stop ,they charge 300-400 for McLeod but I'll suggest to take Jeep Taxi to McLeodganj. I booked my stay at Flugler Hostel which is in Dharamkot, Dharamkot is 2 kms upper from the mcleodganj , I booked my stay there because that place is so peaceful and away from the hustle & bustle of the city. You can walk to Dharmkot, it will take 40 mins or you can take taxi also. Flugler Hostel is situated in upper Dharamkot & trust me you'll feel so good at this place. The people in this Hostel are so good & food also. After Having some rest & food I decided to visit Bhagsunaag Waterfalls which is 30mins away from the hostel if you do trekking. I suggest you to do trek if you want to see the beauty of this place. The trek is so beautiful & after reaching the Bhagsunaag Waterfalls you'll find so good scenic view of the fall & the bhagsu village from the top. There's a cafe called Shiva Cafe , you can have food here & enjoy the scenery. After 7pm I came to my Hostel by the same way. Then we enjoyed bonfire & live music at the hostel , you'll meet so many Travellers from all around the world & interact with different people from different places with thousands of stories.

The morning in Hostel was so beautiful. The view from the roof top was mesmerizing. I took a shower & had my breakfast. I was ready for the trekking to Triund. This is one of the famous trek in Himachal Pradesh. I found few other people to join for the trek. A guy named AJ was our guide for the Trek . We started the trek at 10 am from the Hostel & make sure you have all the essential clothes , food & energy drink for the Trek , you can find so many shops there but the price is so high for everything. Keep your bag light for the trekking. The trek is so beautiful , there's a different scenery at every point of the trek. In the middle of the trek there's a cafe called Half Point , you can have rest & food ( Maggie,omelet, sandwich etc) there. When we're about to reach the top , the weather changed and hailstorm started. However we managed to save ourselves and after reaching the top weather was still rainy . We purchased camps from a shop there and placed them to our desired place & went inside of the camp to save from the hailstorm. After 30-45 mins , sky was clear and the beauty of that place was breathtaking. We enjoyed every part of that place. Temperature was near to 8-9°c. There are so many shops where you can get the camp at the top & you can book the camp in advance also from McLeodganj and online. We missed the sunset because of the clouds but the evening was so beautiful. We had Maggie at a shop there. Eating Maggie with a cup of Chai at the top of a mountain is a different feeling. I spent my evening admiring the beauty of that place by different spots. At night we had Daal Chawal in dinner at the same shop & it was so delicious, After dinner we played music in Bluetooth speaker & sat in group started the conversation by telling the travel stories of every person in the Group. It was extremely beautiful experience, the sky was full of stars & that feeling was awesome. After that we all went to our camps & spent the night in the camp.

Good morning! You'll see the brightest morning here Nature's Beauty is on the peak but WAIT!!!! you won't find any toilet here. If you ask someone They'll say do it in open. So, this is something disturbing here. Around 8am I started the trekking back to Dharamkot. I reached down around 11:30am & took rest at my hostel. I booked my bus back to Delhi from Dharamshala. Bus departure was on 8:30pm so I decided to explore Mcleodganj and I checked out from the Hostel took a lift by someone to McLeodganj. At first I decide to visit "Dalai Lama temple" which is 500 meters away from the main square of mcleodganj. This temple is dedicated to Dalai Lama & there's a museum called "Tibet Museum". You'll explore the history of the Tibbetians and about their matters with China and so many things. Tibet Museum and Dalai Lama Temple both are situated at the same location. The temple is on First floor and it is so beautiful. I was expecting that as a peaceful place but it was so crowded. The statues of the Lord Buddha is so beautiful. All the statues were made up of Gold ( Just assuming, not sure about this). After that I decided to visit "St. John in the wilderness" Church. I was walking towards the church through the main market because it was hardly 1.5kms away from that place. I ate an Aloo tikki at a shop on the way, It was not that good as compared to Delhi NCR. I was on the way and I was just about to reach the Church then the weather suddenly changed and Hailstorm started again...I was confused where to go,To the Church or back to the main square where I can get the taxi to Dharamshala because I had to reach Dharamshala on time so I can take my Bus. & The weather was more bad at that time and it was so hard to stand at an open place. A Taxi driver suddenly opened the door & ask me to come into the car so I can save myself from the Hailstones.The size of the hailstones was equal to a golf ball. That Taxi driver was an angel, I asked him to go Dharamshala because I dropped the plan to go Church but he denied because he had to go to some other route he told me to sit inside the car until the Hailstorm stop. After ½hour of waiting the weather was still bad he drove the car towards the main square and he provided me an other taxi. Taxi driver asked ₹300 to go. We headed up to Dharamshala and suddenly i realized that I didn't had momos in whole trip ( I'm a foodie) so I asked the driver to stop the car in the market I want to have momos , he said weather is so bad outside and seriously it was raining so hard but still I told him to stop the car at a momos corner and I took a plate of momos and ate them in the car,now I was satisfied. I reached Maximus mall,Dharamshala. It was the boarding point of the bus. I reached there 2hours before the boarding time, So in that time span i explored the Maximus Mall which is not that big mall but all the necessary stores are there. Then I had some street food outside of the mall and finally I got the bus on the time & arrived Delhi in the morning around 6:30am.
