Day 1: Gurugram to Rishikesh
During the pandemic traveling to a place where you will find a lot of tourists around can result in various risks of getting the virus. So one should plan a journey in a way that these risks can be eliminated and have a safe travel. This is what we did, we started from Gurugram on 09-Dec-2020 around 3:30 pm by our own vehicle (car). Though there were many hurdles which we knew will be encountered such as evening traffic while moving towards Meerut road and ongoing Farmers protest.
We took KMP Highway to eliminate the traffic through Delhi and during the road trip we got a chance to see such an amazing Sunset.
But Luckily we only encountered late night traffic on Upper ganga canal road while heading towards muzaffarnagar. We finally reached Rishikesh around 12:00 am after a drive of approx. 8 hrs from Gurugram.
Day 2: Rishikesh to Chopta
We woke up to such beautiful views and the sounds of the bells from temples next morning in Rishikesh. After having our breakfast we headed towards Chopta via Devprayad, Srinagar & Rudraprayag.
So instead of taking the route via ukimath we took a shortcut route starting from Bhiri Village. The shortcut road though was narrow but was worth taking as it was full of scenic beauty and wao moments turn by turn.
The journey of the shortcut route was just amazing as it was full of waterfalls, beautiful trees loaded with Oranges and amazing snow covered Himalayan view. Check-out our day 2 journey through this vlog, hope you will like it.

Day 4: Auli to Gurugram
The fresh morning started with a fresh snowfall in Auli during december 2020, this was season's first heavy snowfall which we encountered that day. Well we did not wanted to go back to home as the weather here was just like a magnet and we were feeling like a metal but unfortunately we have to rush back for Gurugram via Devprayag.
