Srinagar! Best place to start your journey to Ladhak!! A Heaven on the earth. Dreamed of visiting Srinagar, Kashmir and its came true. Visited Shalimar bagh, Dal Lake, Nagin Lake, shopped Kashmir's spices, stayed on Houseboats, spend evening at dal lake, etc. Words are not enough to explain the experience so have clicked few movements too.. but that also not enough. #srinagar

Kargil! The wonderful valley with its amazing apricots is a dream destination. Though today Kargil is the second largest urban center of Ladakh it was the gateway for caravans of silk, brocade, carpets, felts, tea, poppy, ivory et al to China, Tibet, Yarkand and Kashmir in the past.

Leh lies near the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir, on the crossroads of the historic "Silk Route" from Sinkiang to West Asia and to the plains of India. The humbling monasteries of Shey, Hemis, Alchi, Thikse and Lamayuru will nurture your spiritual needs, and the landscape of Leh provides for a number of adventure activities including mountaineering, white-water rafting and trekking along the Markha Valley.

Turtuk is known for its varieties of fruits, especially apricots. Turtuk was under Pakistani control until the war of 1971, when the Indian Army captured the village. It s the last outpost of India's Ladakh. It is also one of the gateways to the Siachen Glacier. Wonderland of Turtuk, an unknown little hamlet, flanked by Nubra on one side and Baltistan on the other, lies along the shores of Shyok River & Last Village on Indo-Pak Border.
